Tina O'Brien and Ryan Thomas Welcome Daughter Scarlett Jacqueline

It’s another Coronation Street baby! Former and current Coronation Street actors Tina O’Brien, 25, and Ryan Thomas, 24, welcomed their first child at 8:00 a.m. Sunday, October 26th. The baby girl — reportedly named Scarlett Jacqueline Thomas — was born at Manchester General Hospital weighing 7 lbs. 1 oz. According to a source, Tina and Ryan "are so pleased and relieved" with their new daughter. There has been no official statement from the couple confirming nor denying the news.

The pregnancy was announced in April. Tina and Ryan weren’t the only ones from the hit show that are expecting new arrivals: Jack P. Shepherd is set to be a new dad when girlfriend Lauren Shippey delivers, Alison King is due to give birth to her first child in February, and Jane Danson is currently expecting her second child. In addition, Andy Whyment welcomed son Thomas last weekend.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear nothing on the name(s) or other details just yet because they have been doing a few magazine deals during the pregnancy and it would make sense that they’d also do the same for this. Congrats to the couple, I bet she’s beautiful!

Congratulations to Tina and Ryan on the birth of baby Scarlett! I love how on Coronation Street, Sarah gave birth to a baby girl and now Tina has a baby girl too- she must be well prepared for motherhood after playing Sarah for so long!
