Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn Blum, 32, are going to be parents for the second time! The 39-year-old rocker’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE that Jordyn is pregnant with the couple’s second child. No further details — including a due date — were released.
The new baby will join big sister Violet Maye, 2 ½. Dave and Jordyn were married in August 2003.

i’ve been thinking it since february…lol…so i assume i was wrong. dont think she can be too far along,as pics i saw taken in june/july she didnt appear to be pregnant,not that thats saying much.
with Vi they left it really late to announce it,so its anyones guess lol.

What is it with all these second or third pregnancy annoucements lately?
I mean, within the past week or so, Trista and Ryan Sutter, Brad and Kimberely Paisley, Lisa Bonet, and the Grohls have all annnounced their second (or, in Lisa’s case, third) pregnancies!
Not to mention Gwen and Gavin, Angie and Brad (I know Knox and Viv are actually their fifth and sixth kids, but I’m including them since this was Angie’s second pregnancy and Angie and Brad’s second and third biological kids) Matt and Luciana (similar to the Jolie-Pitts, except that this was Luciana’s third pregnancy but the second biological child of Luciana and Matt), Adam and Jackie, Ben and Jen, who have all either recently had their second child or are currently expecting their second child.
People keep commenting on the “twin boom”, in Hollywood…But there also seems to be a boom of second pregnancies!

I went to see the Foo’s at Wembley this summer and when Dave said they wouldn’t be back for a while I knew they’d be a second pregnancy and have been waiting for this ever since. Congratulations!!

This is one of my favourite families EVER! I was lucky enough to be at one of the Foo Fighters Wembley Stadium gigs this year and have Dave to thank for one of the best nights ever! The least I can do is pass on congrats for another mini Foo! Violet is such a little beauty, I can’t wait to see the next one! I’ve got a feeling they’ll have another girl! I’m thinking boy. But it’s funny because everyone else in the Foos has all boys!! Dave/Jordyn are the only ones with a daughter. Shifflet has 3 boys, Nate has 2 boys, and Taylor has 1.

Oops! I forgot Naomi and Liev! I wonder if, once her play is over, we’ll be hearing pregnancy news about Katie Holmes? So far, of celebs that have two-year-olds, she’s the odd one out in that she is NOT pregnant with baby number 2! I think she might have been by now had it not been for her play.

I read in an interview around 2003ish/2004ish (fooarchive!) that if Dave were to have a daughter, he’d name her Violet (and he did, obviously) and if he were to have a son, he’d name him Harper.. Anyone else heard this??
