Packers Coach Mike McCarthy Welcomes Daughter Gabrielle Kathleen

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy and his wife Jessica welcomed daughter Gabrielle Kathleen McCarthy on Wednesday, October 22nd at a Green Bay hospital. Both mom and daughter are reported to be doing well. This is the second child for Mike, who has a daughter Alexandra, 17, from a previous relationship. The 44-year-old shared on Monday that, "it’s been 17 years since I have been through this, but I don’t remember doing a whole lot!" He noted, "I’ll carry the bag and make sure there is gas in the car, things like that. I can handle that."

Mike has been head coach for the Packers since 2006. He was also the offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints in the past.
