I know this is a celeb baby site but 248 for a blanket with a lady bug? Please. It’s not even that cute or interesting.

These blankets are completely adorable! A friend of mine referred me to Humminbirdln website upon purchasing a baby blanket for her 1 yr old daughter. I was a bit skeptical at first because my twins just turned 4 and I wasn’t in the market to splurge on $250 blankets but the designs were so cute I figured if my kids didnt’ like them, i could always give them away as Xmas gifts.

My girl isn’t a girly girl so i got her a blue dog and her brother the blue stripes one. They tend to fight over the same item so I figured getting them a same color with different designs would be a good combination. Upon receiving them, I immediately noticed the texture and the size. I already have designer cashmere baby blankets I purchased at barneys years ago, and this one seemed thicker, plusher, and even bigger. The kids loved them instantly. We live in L.A. and it’s over 80 degrees here even though it’s almost end of October but my daughter wanted to take it in her stroller to the mall so we did. We must have gotten at least a half a dozen compliments on them.

The only downside was my boy dropped his ice cream cone on his blanket and I was reminded why I don’t buy anything cashmere too often for them. However, from previous experience with my own cashmere items, I threw the blanket in the big mesh lingerie bag with a capful of my White+Warren cashmere wash and turned it to the delicate cycle and hang dried it. you know what? It’s even plusher now if you can believe that. I’m not sure if the website recommends this but it worked for me.

These are really incredible quality cashmere and I love them for my kids. I wish they would make a lap size one for adults. I would grab the heart and the ladybug w/o hesitation. These won’t be replacing my kids’ security blankets but it has become their showoff blankets for sure!
