Coronation Street's Andy Whyment Welcomes a Son

Andy Whyment is the next star to take part in the Coronation Street baby boom. He and wife Nichola welcomed a son, reportedly named Thomas, over the weekend. This is the first child for the couple, who were married in July 2007.
The 28-year-old actor is one of many stars of Coronation Street that were expecting new arrivals — Ryan Thomas and Tina O’Brien await their first child at the end of October, Jack P. Shepherd is set to be a new dad when girlfriend Lauren Shippey gives birth, Alison King is due to give birth to her first child in February, and Jane Danson is currently expecting her second child.
