Orlando Magic’s small forward Hedo Turkoglu is about to be outnumbered in his household — he and his wife Banu are expecting a daughter in February or March. The 29-year-old’s coach, Stan Van Gundy, jokingly shared that he hopes the couple’s first child "looks like his [Hedo's] wife and has her personality."

The Turkey native began playing basketball in the United States when he was drafted by the Sacramento Kings in 2000 and has since played for the San Antonio Spurs also.

I read that thinking that ‘small forward’ meant that he was short, as I’m from the UK and am not very familiar with basketball terms, then I went onto the wiki page for this guy and realised he was the better part of seven feet tall lol.

Congrats to the couple, best wishes for the pregnancy.

Congrats to Hedo and his wife! I am a huge Sacramento Kings fan and can’t wait to see the little one.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
