Slash Says Youngest Son Inherited Love of Music

In his self-titled autobiography Slash, Saul Hudson — aka Slash — chronicles his journey from the fast lane to the carpool lane, and just about everything in between. A dedicated father to sons London Emilio, 6, and Cash Anthony, 4, with wife Perla Ferrar, the 43-year-old former Guns N’ Roses guitarist says that merging the "rock and roll craziness" of his life in the 80s and 90s with the "domestic life" he leads now "works together."
"All things considered, [the book] goes through all the basic craziness and then, somehow, towards the end of it, I ended up married and now with two kids … It is what it is. I guess you get the idea from reading it."
London, for now at least, doesn’t seem interested in following in his dad’s footsteps. "[He] seems to like sports more than anything, avoiding girls and that kind of thing," Slash reveals. His youngest son is a different story, however.
"[Cash] is probably the one that seems the most artistic, because he does a lot of drawing and he plays his piano, and is attempting to learn how to play the guitar. So, he seems to be going in that direction."
Slash and Perla have been married since 2001.
