Karla Martinez Welcomes Second Daughter, Michaella

Despierta América co-host is a mom for the second time! Karla Martinez and her husband, Mexican engineer Emerson Peraza welcomed their second daughter — whom the couple have decided to name Michaella — in Miami, Florida. Revealing that the baby girl was delivered via c-section, Karla shared that Michaella weighed 7.5 lbs, and was 19.5 inches long.

While Karla, 33, feels extremely blessed between the birth of new baby Michaella and her 1-year-old daughter Antonella, she says that she is looking to add two more to the brood!

Last June, Karla sat down with People en Español to announce her pregnancy, discuss motherhood and her new book, El Poder de una Sonrisa.
