In a new blog entry for Oxygen — the network which broadcasts her hit reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood — Tori Spelling writes that her son Liam Aaron, 17 ½ months, has some very diverse interests! He is"obsessed" with swimming and takes lessons twice each week, Tori says, and the results are impressive: "He’s amazing and fearless in the water and swims with just one tiny floaty around one leg." When he’s not in the pool, Liam can often be found in his play kitchen; Tori says it’s his "new favorite toy," and she and husband Dean McDermott enjoy partaking in the "faux meals" their son has been happily preparing for them. With so many hours to fill in a day, however, Liam likes to devote a little time to his budding career as a musician as well.
"Liam’s into music and musical instruments too, and after watching his big bro Jack [Montgomery, turning 10 next week, from Dean's first marriage] play, he just started trying to play "Rock Band" on the Wii. He really rocks out on those drums!"
The verbal boom of toddlerhood seems to be in full swing, as well. Liam loves dogs — calling them "woof, woofs" — and has been "trying to sing his ABCs," Tori shares. Little sister Stella Doreen, 3 ½-months, gets in on the act as well…albeit unknowingly, for Liam likes to smell her feet and announce "pee-U!" In Tori’s blog, Stella earns raves from mom as well. Calling her daughter her "little Ladybug," Tori says Stella "is all about doing big, pointed-toe high kicks" — leading the 35-year-old actress to muse "maybe ballet is in her future!" She adds,
"[Stella] adores Liam and smiles whenever he comes near her. She can’t take her eyes off him. She loves her baths and is a really good sleeper!"
