Everyone loves magazines, but subscription and newsstand prices canoftentimes be a deterrent from purchasing your favorite reads. Time Inc, the publishing giant that owns Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle and PEOPLE, among others, understands this, and on Monday introduced MAGHOUND, a new service that lets you subscribe to several magazines for one low monthly price.
MAGHOUND currently offers a library of 230 titles — you cansubscribe to 3, 5 or 7 per month, for one fee (although some magazinesare a few dollars more). Instead of subscribing to the individualmagazines, you’re subscribing to the MAGHOUND service itself. What’scool about that is you can switch the magazines you subscribe to at anytime; you’re not locked into a year-long contract with any onepublication. It’s kind of like Netflix, although the best part is thatyou never have to return anything!
