In better late than never news, Happy Monday‘s Mark ‘Bez’ Berry, 44, and his partner Monica Ward welcomed son Leo John Berry on Sunday, July 6th. A spokesman for Happy Monday shared that "It was almost perfect timing" because "the band had just finished one performance" and that Leo arrived on the band’s break before their next gig this summer.
The pregnancy was announced in April.

Congrats to them.
I know Mark has struggled with substance abuse for a large portion of his life – leaving him with personality and physical defects as a result.
I very much hope that the couple can stick to clean living and show strength now that they have a child.

wow. when i saw this photo, i thought the article would be about someone being diagnosed with some horrible disease….but it makes sense after reading the first comment. Congratulations to them! and I double the sentiment of Nancy.
