Amy Poehler laughs while participating in the Saturday Night Live and Presidential Politics Panel Discussion with SNL co-creator Lorne Michaels and costar Seth Meyers at The Times Center on Monday evening in NYC.

Amy, 37, recently announced that she’ll be leaving SNL after the November elections — and after the birth of her and Will Arnett‘s first child, a delivery surprise due next month. Or, as Amy puts it, "My baby drops in October, and everybody’s got to go out and get it!"

I’m sad to see her leave SNL since she is so hilarious, but I completely understand her decision. I hear she’ll be back next year on NBC with a new sitcom so I’ll definitely be on the lookout for that.

That said, I loved her on this past Saturday’s season premiere. I also thought the promo she shot with Michael Phelps and Lil Wayne was cute.

She is hysterical! I just watched Baby Mama and laughed my butt off! I loved her in it! I am hoping she has a girl just to break the string of celebs having boys lately. But, I think it’s a boy.

So I deff. think its a girl, I have thought that from the beginning. I am really sad though to see that she is leaving SNL (( the show won’t be the same without her, she does SO many good roles on there, but I undersand her choice. Good luck to her and Will! Amy’s adorable and I hope that she have a healthy and happy baby. Yes, she’ll be leaving SNL but she’ll be part of a new NBC comedy that’s being created by Office producers, Greg Daniels and Mike Schur.
