Ernesto Laguardia and Wife Expecting Second Child

Mexican actor and TV host Ernesto Laguardia and his wife Patricia Rodriguez, 27, have announced that they are expecting their second child. After several months of trying for another baby, Ernesto is "very happy" and "thankful to God" that their wish came true. According to the 48-year-old host of Hoy, their hope was to have their children close in age, as he explains that "it’s better for them and for the mother too, I think that way they’re both out of diapers and you raise them through the same stages." Although they have not found out the sex of the baby yet, they are convinced that it’s a boy — thanks to their 11-month-old daughter Barbara.

"We think it’s going to be a boy because Barbara doesn’t want her mom much, she doesn’t want to be with her and she’s with me all the time. That’s something instinctive that kids feel and perceive very well."
