You know you have a great double stroller when even the squirrels inthe park are looking a bit jealous. When I was standing at theplayground with my children and spotted an excited little squirrelright in our new Indie Twin stroller by Bumbleride (in the limited edition Bwana print) I knew I had a keeper.

Okay, I don’t pick strollers based on the opinion of one squirrel.It takes at least a couple of them to sway me. But pushingaround a stroller as cool as this one certainly makes heads turn. So itwas no surprise for me to spot that little squirrel thinking he’d foundhimself a new set of wheels. And if you saw how fast I ran over tochase him out of ‘MY’ stroller, well, you’d know just how much I love the Indie Twin.

bumblerides may look cute, but I had MAJOR problems with my bumbleride indie ALL the wheel tires SPLIT open and were not usable…and only after using stroller for one month on suburban streets and an indoor shopping mall in fl! The company would not refund stroller.com where we got the stroller so i could exchange it, but just kept sending me wheel replacements. In the end – wheels kept breaking …one was replaced 3 times! I wad finally so fed up and i could not use the stroller for my new baby girl..that i got angry and was crying and strooler.com FINALLY refunded me and i am waiting for the check and will apply it towards a bugaboo. The other thing that bugged me was i talked to bumbleride in SD soo many times abd was so upset and they woulndt refund and in the end stroller.com just ate the money and refunded me. I asked someone higher up in the company to send me another wheel while I wait for my new stroller…and they never sent me the replacement and so my stroller is barely hanging on…as i wait for the refund check so we can get the new stroller from bugaboo. I AM SO NOT HAPPY WITH bumbleride AT ALL!

I had a lot of problems with our Bumbleride too. It felt very flimsy and almost flipped over on me at times. The fabric is also very cheap for what they are charging.

We have the single stroller. We love this stroller. My baby is now 9 months old and we have been using it since day one. Our family is very active with running and hiking and I am very impressed with this stroller.

And most important my baby loves it. He loves the pattern on the inside (we have the red stroller), he just chills and almost always falls asleep.

We did get one flat tire and I contacted Bumbleride, the had another sent to us in 2 days. The were awesome!

I’ve read the positive and very negative views on Bumbleride and feel compelled to offer an additional perspective. We’ve found Bumbleride to be an extremely responsive manufacturer on the occasion that a customer has an issue with any of their strollers, and Bumbleride has never refused to issue a credit to us (a retailer) for a defective item. Regarding the Bumbleride Indie Twin, it has frequently been on back-order from the factory during 2008 — a reflection on how popular it is with parents.
