It took Angie Harmon a little time to find the right man, but when former professional football player Jason Sehorn came along, she knew it was worth the wait. Despite being discouraged at times, the actress says she is appreciative and proud of the family she and Jason have created. Little moments mean the most to her, such as when daughters Finley Faith, 4 ½, and Avery Grace, 3, wake up from their naps and "crawl into my lap and snuggle. They’re so still I can feel their hearts beating."

"I hold them close and think how grateful I am that I waited to meet the right man and have our wonderful family."

Angie admits that she is an anxious person and wants things now instead of later. She credits Jason for helping her to learn patience as she watches him spends hours with their daughters "in the backyard looking for bugs and snails and frogs." (For her part, Angie says, "Gross! Those were a plague for a reason!")

Angie, 36, and Jason, 37, are currently expecting their third child.

Oh, I absolutely love her comment about the creepy crawlies! Although we are typically the opposite at our house and I have to get all the spiders because my hubby is terrified of them.

I completely agree with her about waiting for the right man. I am happy I waited for my husband to come along.

I love Jason and Angie’s family, and Jason just seems like a great dad. Reading this makes me forget their celebrity and realize at the end of the day they’re a regular family, a family like everyone else’s. That’s why I love when celebs are candid. Lets me relate to them more.

I have to agree with Angie, I hate the creepy crawlies. My husband has to deal with them all!

Their children have very beautiful names. Unique but still very pretty.

I don’t know where I’ve been but I was reading through that article and thinking, “I wonder if they’ll have another baby. They should.”

Then I see they’re expecting their third. Wow. I’m out of the loop, eh?
