Lisa Scott-Lee Admits to Insecurity Over Pregnancy Weight Gain

Splash News

Pregnancy can be a time in a woman’s life where she doesn’t feel attractive; sometimes, she may not even feel like herself. That was the case with Lisa Scott-Lee, a former member of the UK band Steps, when she was pregnant with her six-month-old son Jaden Anthony. She shared in a new interview that "each day I was growing and growing and getting bigger and bigger -– it did feel a bit alien." Lisa explained that she "think[s] most women have insecurities," adding that "if they say they don’t, they’re lying." While the 32-year-old may have worried about her weight, she knew that there was someone much more important to be thinking about.

"Gaining weight wasn’t the most important thing on my mind, obviously my little baby was, but I did think about it."

Jaden is the first child for Lisa and her husband, singer Johnny Shentall.
