Fashion Designer Carlos Miele and Wife Expecting First Child

According to the New York Post, fashion designer Carlos Miele and his wife, model Renata Castro, are expecting their first child. The sources go on to reveal that the couple are having a boy — due in the spring — and have already chosen the name Leonardo. No other information was given. So far, there has been no official confirmation from the couple or their reps.

Up next for Carlos is his own fashion show with live performances from Brazilian musician Seu Jorge, next Wednesday in the tents at Bryant Park in Manhattan.

I would be really surprised if they know the gender already, unless they had prenatal testing. I’m due at the beginning of Feb. and it’s still a little early for me to find out the sex by ultrasound. To me, spring would mean at least end of Feb., if not beginning of March.
