I thought in French it was pronounced like ‘Ace’. As in Aix en Provence. Maybe it’s a regional accent thing.

Correction to my last comment: “Aix” in French would be closer to “ehks”. That’s the last time I trust my roomate on French pronunciation! She also seems to think it might be a strange spelling of “ace”.

In French, “Aix” would be pronounced similarly to “aches”. That’s my spin on it

Barlow is a nice-sounding name; I like it. Congratulations!

As a catalan speaking person (one of the oficial languages spoken in Spain, in the area of Barcelona, Catalunya) I would read the name as ‘ash’ introducing a soft -e- (like in bee) sound between a/sh.
I know it isn’t probably pronounced like that, but I just wanted to add another point of view!

I don’t know who Kali Rocha is but, anyway, congratulations to her and her family for the new addition!

It could be Axe, that’s what I thought anyway, although now I’m thinking that it might be like ‘Ikes’. I actually quite like the way it looks, although I’m not too keen on Barlow as a first name, as here in the UK, it’s the surname of Coronation Street’s (soap) longest serving resident and Ken Barlow is not really someone I would consider naming my child after! I only recognise Kali from Meet The Parents (and Meet The Fockers) and an episode of Without A Trace she did, but from what I remember, she is a very good actress. Congratulations to the family.
