I share their view on bringing the child out & about (all the while maintaining strict nap schedules):) Ensuring babies/toddlers get their sleep is the best way to ensure they’ll be in a good mood & ready to absorb all the world has to offer them.

I’m a little sad for Camilla. I know if I had a kiddo with a man who described us as a “family unit” I would want the finality of a marriage. Of course that is me and not her.

Levi is a beautiful child. Matt McC seems to be relishing his role as father and that’s an exciting thing to see. Camila is absolutely glowing. Wish them all the best.

I agree, Matthew has really taken to fatherhood and it’s so sweet!

I get sad when I hear about their placenta story though. Before my daughter was born my grandmother and I planned to plant a new magnolia tree next to the one my mother and her grandmother planted 35 years ago. We were going to bury my placenta underneath. I live in Alabama and when I asked the nurse to make sure she saved it she looked at me like I was crazy, and somehow she forgot to save it:( Guess they don’t hear that request too much around here!

Camila seems laid back and so nice. I just hope they put headphones or protect the baby’s ears when they go to loud music concerts.

Matthew’s surprised me – I never saw him in the fatherly role and even when he announced he was due to become a father I didn’t see him settling down. However, you can tell he’s just adapted to the role so well and he is clearly so in love with both his girl and his baby boy.

I like the idea that they are doing with the placenta. I’m just glad that they aren’t eating it cause that is kinda creepy and cannibalistic.I was wondering, after you have the baby, does the hospital let you do what you want with the placenta or is it something you have to request ?
