Calling all moms! Brooke Burke, in her latest blog entry to the Baboosh Baby site, is seeking suggestions for a "light, convenient, compact stroller" that won’t take up too much space in her truck. Brooke shares that she’s currently using (and loving!) a Joovy [Caboose] ($180) with son Shaya Braven, 6 months on Friday, and daughter Heaven Rain, 19 months, but she’d also like to add a single stroller to her collection. She’ll soon have a little extra time for outings with the babies now that her older two children — 8-year-old Neriah and 6-year-old Sierra Sky — have returned to school. Calling the transition "tough," the 36-year-old actress and Dancing With the Stars contestant says that "Neriah and Sierra love the extra late summer nights, but now its time to get serious about early bed time."

"Elementary kids need 10 hours of sleep, no buts about it…I know how hard sleep deprivation is on me, imagine how it affects our kids?"

For help, Brooke says she consulted with MomLogic — where she received "some great tips" on how to encourage healthy sleep habits for her children. Rain and Shaya are Brooke’s children with fiancé David Charvet; Neriah and Sierra are her daughters with ex-husband Dr. Garth Fisher.

I love Maclaren strollers. especially since most of them are so lightweight. They are sturdy and usually go up to 45-50 pounds. A good full featured Maclaren is the Techno and it still remains lightweight.

I love hearing from Brooke and her family! Yes children need 10 hours of sleep at night! I am going to MomLogic.com to get some tips since I’ve been having trouble with my 6year old! She says she ‘hates sleeping’ lol and she cries and screams every night the minute I say, ‘time for bed’ my neighbors might think I hit her or something…lol

Good luck finding a good stroller Brooke🙂

I’ve never posted anything before, but I LOVE my Maclaren Triumph so much that it has to be praised! Weighs only 11 lbs, carries up to 55 lbs, has a canopy, plus a basket underneath (hard to find in an umbrella stroller). Also has a carrying strap for mom/dad’s shoulder (great for airports) and a five point harness, which can be changed to three point harness when needed. One reason we purchased this stroller is b/c of the handle height…my husband is 6’3″ and can push this stroller very easily without hunching over which causes back pain. I nearly choked at paying around $200 for an umbrella stroller, but I promise it is the best you can buy.It also has swivel wheels in front and in back, which makes it effortless to maneuver! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Maclaren strollers!

Here’s an idea!?!? Why can’t we find a umbrella type stroller that is affordable for most women and able to fit a toddler and baby! I love all the neat strollers and products out there but it just seems like no one is out there to make a mom’s life easier and worth their buck at the same time when it comes to a double stroller that is lightweight!

I suggest the combi cosmo or helio stroller. Weighing the same as an umbrella stroller, they are each sturdy and have more storage space underneath. I love the patterns too! The kolcraft contours light is also great! Sheryl Crow has even been seen using it with Wyatt! I have each of these and love them. Hey, Im a stroller addict! Good luck!

Yes but she needs a stroller that would seat a toddler and an infant that is light weight and simple. I wish someone would come up with something that wasn’t so expensive and light weight, easy collaspable. I would love it if there was just a simple umbrella with a seat that could pop on for toddlers in the back of it…something like that, that is inexpensive as well.

I agree with the other women about Maclarens. I’ve used 4 different ones and have loved each. I currently own a Techno and plan on buying a Volo once my daughter is older.
