Matilda Rose Ledger, 2 ½, stayed close to mom Michelle Williams, 27, and grandmother Carla (not pictured) while out and about in New York yesterday. The towheaded trio grabbed coffee and spent some time soaking up the city sun. Matilda’s dad is the late Heath Ledger.

Everytime I see her I’m shocked with how tall she is! I know how mom isnt all that tall, but Matilda looks at least like she is a year older than her real age, just by length! WHat do you guys think? The genes from her dad, maybe? Or is it just me?

I thought the same thing about her height. My kids are really tall as well. Strangers will comment on things like, “why is that 3 year old still in diapers” or “why is your 6 year old not in school?” Well… it’s because my “4 year old” is actually only 2 and my “6 year old” is actually 4.

Little Matilda always looks so happy-go-lucky. Michelle is doing a great job keeping her little girl in good spirits. Michelle’s been looking great lately, too. I hope they are both well.

She’s so adorable…and she really does look closer to four, rather than 3.
She used to be a carbon copy of her Daddy, but I see her Mom and Grandma’s smile coming through more now….although she still does look alot like her Dad.

Everytime I see a picture of Matilda I’m suprise about how tall is she, my son is 2 and a half too and he is tall, but Matilda also has a very mature face and movements.

i echo everybody else by commenting on her height-she’s gonna be tall! but its not just length, she has totally lost the chubby toddler look and actually looks like a mini adult…but that might just be me, lol!
so sad for her, at least she will have many photo’s+footage,films etc to help her remember her daddy, she will also know the effect her dad had on the film and acting world, and the respect he had in such circled. that i hope will go some way towards helping her deal with her fathers death in a positive way…

You know everyone always talks about how tall Suri is or what long legs Zahara has but this is girl has them both beat. She is already at her mothers hip (even though Micelle is only 5’4″) at 2 1/2
