Gloria Estefan Shares the Stage with Daughter Emily

Emily Estefan proved to be following in the footsteps of both her musically talented parents when she joined her mother, singer Gloria Estefan, up on stage at one of Gloria’s recent concerts in Marbella, Spain. With her proud mother introducing her as the new "Estefanita," Emily, 13, performed a solo piece on the guitar which ended with loud cheering — and a few gifts — from the audience.

While Gloria plans on recording more music in the future, her concert days have come to an end. The 50-year-old singer is currently in Europe on her farewell tour.

Emily’s father and Gloria’s husband is music producer Emilio Estefan. The couple also have a son, Nayib, 28, who is a music composer.

I saw gloria in concert in connecticut back in may. Gloria was the nicest lady ever and gave a killer performance. She introduced her daughter on stage, and her daughter performed execllent. She seems like a very quiet shy child too, and it was lovely to see her look like a kid and not a 13yr old with tons of makeup or dressed sexy. Emily had no makeup, was dressed in sneakers and jeans and seemed like a nice educated child.

Wow, I’m still thinking she’s this little girl. It’s been so long since I’ve heard or seen anything about Emily! And she’s musically inclined like the rest of her family, huh? I’m not surprised! Must be in the blood.

And yeah, she looks like Gloria’s clone in that photo.

28 son and 13 daughter wow! I didnt realise the age gap was 15yrs. That must have been an adjustment for Nayib at 15 having a new babym plsu now having to share his parents after having them all to himself.

This farewell tour is like Cher’s! I remember Gloria id a farewell tour a few years back.

We saw Gloria at Wembley and Emily had her own little spot. She is a whizz on the drums And guitar. The show was a great night out, we had a wonderful time. Shame she won’t tour any more.
