Vin Diesel is the Baby Whisperer!

Vin_diesel78900087cbbPicture Vin Diesel and his many "tough guy" characters come to mind, but when the actor accepted a role as a nanny in his 2005 movie Pacifier, it didn’t take many baby-filled days for Vin to feel "this desire to have a child." After the movie wrapped, it took some time "to find the right person" and for Vin "to hopefully be mature enough to be a great father," but when his girlfriend Paloma Jimenez gave birth to their first child — a daughter — back in April, the first time dad knew he was up for the challenge.

As for any jitters about being a new dad, Vin explains that he "had a lot of practice growing up," everything from "a lot of diaper changing and lunch-making" for his younger siblings to taking them to their after school activities. Having the extra experience with babies also earned Vin the nickname of "Baby Whisperer" on the set of Pacifier — when the actor held a crying baby, the infant would stop wailing!

Although the action star known for his hard-edged roles says he realizes some fans are surprised to realize that he’s a dad, Vin, 41, reveals that becoming a softie is just part of the process! "Someone once told me that, when youhave a child, it opens up parts of your heart that you never knew existed," he explains. "And it is so true."

It’slike you have a child and you think, ‘Everything that I’ve done up until this point isinsignificant in comparison to being a father.’ It’s a beautiful, beautiful thing.

lol Vin was/is my best friend’s celebrity crush. Funny thing is, I call her hubby to be the baby whisperer.

I think the Pacifier was one of my favourite Vin movies.

My husband had no doubt that I was pregnant when I started crying at the end of the Pacifier, lol. Normally not my type of movie (a little hokey I think) though I’m a Vin Diesel fan, I was laying on the couch on Fathers Day, too sick to move, and the end of the movie was on so I watched it and just started crying when Vin said goodbye to one of the little girls.

Now this is just my personal opinion …. and don’t get me wrong I’m a HUGE Vin Diesel fan ……. but I just find it a little odd that he doesn’t want to release any information on his child except for the fact that she was a girl and born on April 2, but yet now he’s doing all these interviews about her and being a daddy ….. which I’m sure he’ll make a wonderful father …. but it’s got me questioning the fact of WHY? My husband swears he’s doing it so the magazines will start biding for the first photos and I don’t believe that’s quite it …. but I can’t figure it out …. what do all of you think???

Except he’s not doing interviews about the baby.

If you notice, in every interview that brings this subject up, he’s very care to talk about HIMSELF only. He’s not said one word about the baby. He’s only indicated how having her has affected him.

He’s given no personal details about her or the mother. I didn’t get to see him on Conan but he hasn’t even uttered Paloma’s name in public, yet told Parade magazine he had to “search for the right woman” for a few years. It just sounds like he’s making the best out of a situation we’ll never know about.

But being a fan, you know how he is. He says the same things in every interview, and has for the last 7 years.

I haven’t personally seen any interviews with him only what I have read on here but yes you are correct he does have a bad habit of repeating himself.
