Interesting article on preschool. I worked with inner city kids and so I am a fan of low-income/free preschools, because I feel like they can be great prep for kindergarten. I have never heard anything about preschool being negative for kids. My mother had several friends with kids my age, so they all home preschooled us together. My younger siblings went to traditional preschools. I plan to enroll my child in preschool when s/he is old enough, perhaps a Montessori one.
