The Mouse and the Motorcycle DVD from Scholastic Storybook Treasures

We recently reviewed The Mouse and the Motorcycle DVD from Scholastic Storybook Treasures($12.99). My toddler loved watching this story of a young mouse calledRalph (based on the Beverly Cleary Book), who lives with his family ina hotel and who is always looking for his next adventure. When a youngboy arrives with a miniature motorcycle, Ralph takes it out for a spinand becomes friends with the boy. This was shot as an after schoolspecial in 1986 and while not the greatest live action/dimensionalanimation I’ve ever seen, it really captured my child’s attention andwe both liked the story. There is a feature on the DVD you can turn onthat will let you see the text on the screen and follow along.
