What’s your secret mom talent?
My secret mom talent is getting unwilling kids buckled into carseats. I sing, dance, do anything to distract them, then close the door just as the wailing starts!

I absolutely love that she’s teaching him to open doors for girls, because Lord knows more moms (and dads) need to teach that. Keep chivalry (or common courtesy) alive!

My 5 year old daughter use to HATE her seatbelt, so I made a game whoever can buckle their setbelt first wins, she loves beating me. I also play the ‘lets see who can finish their veggies first’ he he

Bren, your comment made me laugh, I have to admit! 
When I was little, my mum would always suggest that we “have a race” to see who could put their pajamas on first. I’d run off and do it as fast as possible, only to come back to find that she hadn’t even started – and I just thought she was so slow and I was unbeatable! It took me YEARS to catch on, hee, and we still laugh about it now. It’s genius parenting!

My secret mom talent is being able to get overtired babies to sleep. I always tuck their arm under mine and with my free hand I rub my finger on their eyebrows and keep smoothing them over and over. My finger being that close to their eyes always makes them close their eyes and we all know that’s half the battle…if you can just get those eyes closed. Pretty soon their snoozing away.
