How has your style changed since becoming a mother?
I have long hair…pre baby, I would blow dry and curl it every day. Now that he is 8 weeks old, I am lucky if I get a shower! And I cant do with a thing with out a hair tie!! And make up….well, that is about out the window as well

My hair is in a ponytail every single day. And it seems to get shorter and shorter! And I dress sloppier because I’m still 20 lbs overweight.

I really have come to like Nicole Richie. She seems to be a really down to earth mom. And that Harlow is soooo cute!!!

I am a young mom-26. My kids are 6 1/2 and 5 so its hard to find clothes to fit me size wise and mom wise Its hard to look like a mom when your a small young mom but I try. I also used to have long hair and now i have a pixie cut which I LOVE and dont know how I ever did without it

I don’t wear figure hugging dresses every day like I used to. I don’t wear fishnets and heels/goth-y, glam rock clothes… they feel too young for me now. I’m 26 as well.
Also, I’m still nursing my 15 month old so while I can fit into my former size 2′s, 3′s and 5′s, none of my dresses fit because my boobs are so huge! I wear a lot of skirts and tee shirts or tanks. Everything has to be easy access. Never did I imagine my first thought when getting dressed would be, “can I get my boob out of that?” lol!
I cut off my long hair and I wear big earrings and barrettes to accessorize instead of relying on my hair for style, and I’m always in ballet flats instead of heels. I don’t have time to put on make-up every day but I make it a point to wear it a few times a week.. just so I feel human.

I’m a 29 year old, who has to now wear a headscarf (I’m Muslim) that doesn’t get pulled downward when I carry my one-year-old in my arm (with simultaneously holding my 3-year-old in tow). Also, I have only recently returned to wearing heels again, when going out.
And yeah, my clothes at home have become more loose, to accommodate the change in “proportions”.

my best “fashion” tip to other new moms is to save your nice clothes. i spent the first 8-12 weeks in the same stinky, stained, stretched out gauchos that i lived in during the 3rd trimester, and a few baggy, milk-stained tees that i would rotate as often as i would change my nursing pads. i kept everything else separate in my closet for outings, because who am i dressing up for at home? that way, when it was time for me to leave the house, i always had nice, clean clothes to wear. now, fitting into them was another issue altogether…

I’m 21 and used to dress quite trendy before I had my baby. Now I feel riddiculous when I wear glittery earrings or a sexy top. So I dress like I’m much older. I do want to get my own style back, but I just have to figure out how to do that and not feel silly with the way I look.
In the beginning I didn’t even have time for make-up or anything. But now my daughter is 6 months old and I can get a good shower and I have time for make-up, hair and clothes and I must say it’s starting to look like I also take care of my self again.
I love Nicole Richie for saying this because sometimes it looks like celebrity moms don’t have the same ‘problems’ as we do, but they really do!

I lived in jeans, long sleeve tees, and nursing bras for months but I invested in a few really good pairs of casual shoes.
well, i’m 24 now. i have an almost 5 month old, and another one on the way. i used to hang out with metalheads and punks, so the clothes i wore were usually black and red, and had skulls and graphic material. But, since meeting my husband, i don’t hang out with those people anymore, because it took an outsider to realize that they werent treating me with respect. so, my husband used one of his checks to buy me some nice ‘mother type’ clothes. to which i bought a couple pairs of capris, a couple shirts, and nicer shoes. and to point of the fact some of the clothes are pink, which i’ve never worn. so, i look more my age, and mother approved, compared to some of the other mothers close to my age that i know. i feel great!

Mum style? What’s that? I just wear whatever’s near the top of the ironing pile and hope I don’t get too much sick, biscuit, dribble, milk or yoghurt down it.
Short hair and no earrings to minimise pulling opportunities and I’m not entirely sure what my kids look like because I can’t wear my glasses for fear one of them is going to break them
I have worn make-up once since my eldest daughter was born – for an anniversary dinner with my partner when Alexandra was 13 weeks old and that’s what resulted in my second pregnancy. My make-up is now all dried up and nasty somewhere in my bedroom amongst all the lotions and potions.
Still, it’s good to hear that some mum’s manage to find time to actually look good. How do you do it?!

I am a SAHM with two children– 2 1/2 and 6 months. My style hasn’t dwindled at all. If anything, it’s improved! (What Not To Wear junkie!) I feel even sexier being a wife and mama. Mama deserves her heels, make-up, and accessories! And as my body has changed shape, daddy knows and understands I need new clothes! Don’t get me wrong, I have my days! But most of the time, I look very decent.

Style, what style? I used to be a fashion queen. I won best dressed in High School! My daughter is 10 weeks old and all I care about is making her look cute. She’s the fashion princess!

I am a 26 year old mom and I have struggled mainly with finding the right fit in shorts and skirts. I like the stuff in the junior department b/c it fits, but they are all too short to be bending over and dealing with a 7 month old:) I am kinda stuck between juniors and misses:) I try my best to make myself presentable, but the truth is most days I don’t see the importance when I would must rather be in the floor playing:)! So I usually end up in workout shorts and a tank top. Once the baby was born, I cut off my long blonde hair and started using more natural products for skin and hair care:) It is funny the things we become more aware of when we have a little one that is our responsibility:)
