Jane Danson Joins Coronation Street Baby Boom

Something must be in the water on the set of Coronation Street! On Friday came news that Jane Danson, a 29-year-old actress on the UK-based soap opera, is pregnant with her second child. She becomes the sixth cast member to be currently expecting a baby, joining the ranks of Wanda Opalinska, Alison King, due in February, Andy Whyment, Ryan Thomas, whose partner Tina O’Brien is due in late October, and Jack P. Shepherd, who expects his first child with girlfriend Lauren Shippey.

Jane’s new baby with husband Robert Beck will join their son Harry Alexander Jack, 2, at home.

I was waiting for this announcement!!

Jane gave birth in the room next to me, in Fairfield hospital in Bury.. our sons were born on the same day. I remember walking up and down the corridor of the post natal ward at 5am, both absolutely exhausted, trying to get our babies to go to sleep!

I am trying to convince my husband that we are ready for another!!
