I disagree because I had my first at 22 and my second at 25 and I don’t have the first sign of a stretch mark anywhere. It has a lot to do with genetics. My mom had kids in her 20′s and 30′s and never got one either…

Wow – Minnie looks happy and relaxed ( a v good sign…:)). Steph, don’t be jealous about the lack of stretch marks. I don’t have any stretch marks either because I am what the medical professional delightfully refers to as a geriatric mum (first baby at 38, second at 41). Basically my skin is getting old too and probably too saggy to stretch (lol).

Seriously, I read somewhere that the earlier that you have your first child, the more likely you are to have stretchmarks. All the young first time mums I know (20s) have stretch marks and all the ‘oldies’ (30s and beyond) don’t. There’s probably some good research to be done to establish why that is.

I am jealous not one stretch mark! I wonder how celeb can go thru pregnancies and not have stretch marks?…lol
