Report: Boy/Girl or Girl/Girl Twins for Lisa Marie Presley?

Lisa_marie_presley_cbbjpgUpdate: According to the New York Daily News and Plain Mary, Lisa Marie’s twins will be a boy and a girl. The children will reportedly be named Jesse Presley Lockwood, after Elvis’ identical twin who was stillborn, and Gladys Presley Lockwood, after Elvis’ mother. In addition, Us Weekly is reporting that the baby’s are both girls. Neither the sexes or the names have been confirmed by Lisa Marie or Priscilla.

Update: The babies are fraternal, Priscilla shares.

Originally posted August 5th: Rumors have been swirling about the possibility of twins since news first broke that Lisa Marie Presley was expecting her third child. Now, according to Entertainment Tonight, Lisa Marie, 40, has confirmed that she is indeed expecting twins, and that the babies are due in the fall.

Click ‘Continue Reading’ for more from the interview!

Mom Priscilla reveals her daughter, who she calls "a veryfamily girl," had wanted to keep the news private for as long aspossible because "it’s her time to celebrate with her husband." Shetells Entertainment Tonight,

LisaMarie wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time, and I thinkwomen should, because they should be able to announce what they’rehaving and when it’s time to make the announcement.

Priscilla, who is called "Nona" which "means ‘Grandma’ in Italian,"is very happy for her daughter and son-in-law because she "know[s] thatshe and Michael have been hoping for this for a long time." Now as thedue date nears, Priscilla is starting to shift into baby mode sayingthat "I’m looking at baby stores." She is seeing so many of "theincredible things that are out there today that I wish that were thereduring my time" because "makes life so much easier today" when you havekids.

The twins will be Lisa Marie’s first children with husband Michael Lockwood.  She already has a daughter and a son — Danielle Riley, 19, and Benjamin Storm, 15 — with first husband Danny Keough. As it happens, multiples run in Lisa Marie’s family — dad Elvis was a twin and Priscilla has younger brothers who are twins, as well.

How cool!!!!! Wonder if they are boys or girls or one of each! Can’t wait!

- tink1217 on

What is in the water?! Sincere congrats to her, but again, “what is in the water?!”

- María2 on

Something is seriously in that Hollywood water….it’s an epidemic!

Congrats to them!

- Shannon on

welcome to the club girl!!!

- melanie on

Wonder what they’re all drinking, indeed.

Congratulations to Lisa Marie and Michael.

- Aelys on

How exciting! Wow, it seems like she has been pregnant FOREVER! And she’s not due until fall….? wow…

- Becky on

Due in the fall could mean the end of Sept. so it might not be that far off! I think she’ll have a boy and a girl.

- Marilyn on

What are these celebs eating? They’re all having twins!

Now the big news is when you have either one or three.

- Bugs on

Wow! Seriously – more twins? I hope they are so excited! I’m steering clear of the water in Hollywood myself!

- Tammy on

I concur!! Stay away from the water!! LOL

Well I kind of thought perhaps the rumors were true considering they kept saying she was due in the fall and she’s really BIG!!! But dang. Twins is like the new trend in hollywood!! I think a boy/girl combo is really nice!!

- JM on

Congrats to them!!

- Natasha on

Is there anyone in Hollywood who is NOT having twins? haha

- Julie on

Yes a lot of celebrities are having twins, but in lisa’s case it really does run in the family. Elvis was a twin, and priscilla’s younger brothers are also. Can’t wait to see what she has, I think either 2 girls or boy/girl. What a big age difference her daughter is 19 and son will be 16 in october, god bless her having the energy after having big kids to start all over again. She looks exactly like elvis, looking forward to see if these babies have the presley genes like lisa and riley do.

- brooke on

Oh my! More twins. Does Lisa-Marie live in LA? I read people wondering what is in the water as it seems everyone is having twins, but don’t Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez live outside L.A., like in New Orleans and Florida respectively?

I guess the fathers really have “sperminator” sperm! Hehe.

- DLR on

congations to lisa marie and her husband. i just found out that one my friend is pergnant. but no twins for her.

- angela on

i thought lisa marie lived in Hawaii. also how do people find out what celebs are having? That blows my mind, either their friends are telling on them or the medical people are telling. Unless the celeb themselves are telling.

- steph on

In the water?? It may be! Not to be too gross, but with the rising number of women taking fertility drugs–especially in larger metropolitan areas–then these drugs will be present in the drinking water. It’s been in the news lately–the number of pharmaceuticals in drinking water (our bodies don’t use all of the meds we ingest, so we eliminate them back into the watershed.)

- Mama in VA on

I wouldn’t be surprised if it has something to do with the hormones that is in all of the food. They give cows hormones to stimulate milk production so that they can keep producing milk without having to keep bearing live young. Those hormones are obviously transferred into the milk and we drink that milk. Plus there are hormones and things in the meat itself, even in chickens and pigs. It’s more than what our bodies would regularly produce and since a lot of it, especially what they give the cows to help with the milk production, is what’s in fertility drugs.

I really wouldn’t be surprised to find a direct correlation between the increase in multiples and what they put into our food and drink.

- Cait on

God bless her! I think it’s wonderful that she’s having twins. I think she is admirable in many ways, especially with how the media treated her and how she handled that fiasco.

- Ginger on

Like Lisa Marie I have older children and found myself pregnant at 41 with twins. Twin pregnancies are more common when women become pregnant later in life. We have had a blast with the boys and I’m sure Lisa Marie will with her babies too. Best wishes!

- leslie on

Everyone is having twins! Not just celebs but two of my friends just had twins too and my brothers friend and a professor of mines daughter just had twins as well. Its crazy.

- Bren on

PLEASE DON’T POST AS COMMENT

sorry, my computer wouldn’t let me send a tip, but i’ve read on two other blogs that angie harmon is expecting another child. sorry for posting this on here.

- erin on

Basic biology lesson… does not matter one bit whether “twins” run in the male family. Fraternal twins are caused by a woman releasing TWO eggs. Identical twins are a random occurrence. So the fact her father was a twin and her mother’s brother has twins is utterly irrelevant.

I think the “twins run in the family” line is convenient cover for fertility treatments. (Which, is a woman’s personal business anyway.) But the fact that pretty much everyone here fell for it proves that it’s effective.

- ellen on

Ellen it wasn’t lisa’s mother brother who had twins, it’s lisa maternal grandmother. Priscilla’s mom named Ann had 6 kids, priscilla is the oldest and her last pregnancy was twins 2 boys.

- brooke on

Ellen, it says that Lisa’s mother’s brothers ARE twins. So, Priscilla’s mother had twins. Does that count?

- Kayla on

Ellen, I know that “basic biology lesson”, but I think is an interesting tidbit that she has other twins in her family, and that line is not, IMO, offering a explanation to why shes pregnant with twins, as if to cover for fertility treatments as a cause for the multiples. It is a additional information, and so I dont think the people here fell for it, like you said.

- Dani on

ellen – I agree about those who say they have twins on the father’s side – that is completely irrelevant and so many people fall for it! However, it said her mother’s brothers ARE twins, not that they have twins. If they’re fraternal, that would indicate multiple eggs ovulated in one month, on the mother’s side. Of course that doesn’t mean she didn’t have fertility treatments, but you’re right about it being her business.

I’m expecting triplets in 2 weeks and that’s everyone’s first question. Why would it matter, anyway? Are my babies less valid because I had help? It is annoying that people feel that is their business.

- melody on

That special hollywood water is called “IVF”
I’m sick of hearing how twins run in the family on the mens side. Jo lo’s dad made the comment how his sister has twins, Now elvis was a twin , etc…. People need to educate themself on how twins really happen.
Yes then can and do run in families, However men (even a twin himself) do not not increase the chance of having twins. ALL MEN make millions of sperm. It’s the egg!
It either splits (A random act) Or women in families release more then one.
Or it the majority of cases of twins now it’s IUI or IVF.

- twinmommy2006 on

Ellen, TOTALLY agree that “twins run in the family” is the new cover for “we had fertility treatments.” I was actually just going to leave that comment as well.

Sometimes it seems like celebrities want to be seen as superheroes, that they just don’t want to admit to the fact that they needed help. I think this is definitely the case with Jennifer Lopez, and now with Lisa-Marie Presley. Both used the “twins run in the family” defense, and both are older moms.

- Lauren on

They are all having twins!!!

- Eleonora on

I agree Ellen. My best friend is a fertility specialist and she says most women in Lisa’s age range who find themselves pregnant with twins have used fertility treatments. Eggs become fewer and less viable as women age and they use fertility drugs to increase their chances of conception. I bet IVF was involved. It involves money more than issues with the water! They can easily afford the treatments and the nannies.

- claudiazz on

Hey Ellen, you must have misread the post: Priscillas brothers don’t have twins, they ARE twins. That means that Lisa Marie could have inherited the hyperovulating gene from her maternal grandmother via her mother, and let’s not forget that she is an older mother to be, which also increases chances of having twins as Leslie said.

I wish her all the best for the remainder of the pregnany and that she will deliver healthy, happy babies.

- MiB on

acutally Ellen, you are right that fraternal twins run in families not identical ones but it cat run in the paternal line, not the father of the babies but the maternal grandfather.

ie if you were a male fraternal twin it would not affect your chances of having twins but if could affect your daughters chance of having twins

however as Elvis was an identical twin this is irelevent

- Sia on

ellen, the biology of twins was discussed in the Rebecca and Jerry post, and it seems most people are pretty clued up, not as gullible as you suggest. Also the post says that Priscilla has twin brothers, not that her brother has twins, so that would be twins on the maternal side.

- Sydney on

Wow! Seriously, what in the world is in the water in Hollywood? I’m assuming, which may not be correct that most of the stars over 40 are using IVF. I am an advid egg donor, and almost everytime I’ve done a cycle the recipient became pregnant with twins. I’ve done 5 already!! I highly suggest doing cycles if you’re able to! I do not have any children of my own yet, but I would be devistated if I couldn’t!!!

Anyway, congrats on the pregnancy annoncement! Twins! again!!!! What is this the 12th set in the past two years????

Marcia Cross
Dennis Quaid
Nancy Grace
Jennifer Lopez
Tony Donolani
Kirk Maltby
Diane Farr
Angelina Jolie
Rebecca Romijn
Elvis Costello
Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon
Will Champion
Norah O’Donnel
P-diddy
John Buck
Lucas Neill
Patrick Dempsey

Wow! I obviously have too much time on my hands! But, that would be 17 sets of twins..wow!!!!

- Jaime on

Thank you Ellen. I am also tired of men claiming credit for twins (see Jerry O’Connell.) I was wondering though – if a woman’s father is a fraternal twin, wouldn’t the fact that her grandmother produced multiple eggs potentially transfer to her?

- anonymous on

why is everyone going on and on about them all must have used IVF people can have twins without it you know

hy mother was 32 when she had my twin sisters she has twins in her family my dad does not. she never used IVF which i don’t even think was around 25 years ago.

- cassie on

Lisa is a Scientologist. If she goes by their rules, then there is no way she would have used IVF.

- J on

Hey Ellen, basic biology lesson –

Lisa’s grandmother had Elvis, who was a twin. If he was fraternal, then that means that Lisa’s grandmother would have had the gene for hyperovulation. A woman can pass this gene to her son, which doesn’t mean that HE (Elvis) would have twins, but Elvis could pass the gene to his daughter, Lisa.

If Elvis was identical, then this wouldn’t apply, identicals are by chance.

So it is possible that she could have inherited the hyperovulation gene from Elvis, even though he was a man.

- SH on

Well welcome to the club on twins these days! I’m so happy to hear this. This reminds me of Elvis as he was a twin but the other one was stillborn. I can’t wait to hear the sexes of the babies.

- Kelly on

Ok, I think I just went cross-eyed reading everyone’s explanation of twins and how they come to be. Identical twins are merely chance of one egg splitting but don’t happen with IVF or “run in the family”? Fraternal twins are two separate eggs right? I’ve always heard that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are fraternal twins though, is that just rare thing that they look just alike? Also, I swear I remember watching a special on TLC or Discovery Health not too long ago where a woman used IVF and became pregnant with quads, two sets of identical twins. The doctors said it was like a 1 in a billion chance or something like that but it was possible. Twins are so fascinating to me but I’m so confused…:)

- grace on

Jaime, you missed one. Melissa Etheridge’s partner Tammy gave birth to twins in October 06.

- hillary on

COngrats to them!

WHO CARES HOW IT WAS DONE? AND WHY MUST YOU ALL ARGUE ABOUT IT? Do you all come here to RIP on the celebs? If so, maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself. They are happy. So who cares?

:-)

- Nicole on

I’m just tickled to bits that she’s having twins because that increases the numbers of those good looking Presley descendants! I can’t imagine what it must be like to have children spread so far apart in age. One 19 year old, one fifteen year old and a set of brand spanking new twins; that’s a lot of variety in one family.

- Jan on

Ellen what is there to fall for?? Twins do run in her family. Why can’t some of you accept that some or all of these celebs aren’t using an excuse or cover & didn’t use treatments.

- Alisa on

I agree with Becky, it seems like she has been pregnant forever! It was confirmed shortly before Priscilla started DWTS which was in mid-March. Lisa Marie was already showing then so I would imagine is was at least 2-3 months pregnant then though it’s hard to tell with twins since people usually start showing earlier. I think the babies are probably due no later than early Oct (more likely Sept though) but will probably be born several weeks before the due date.

- legemc on

Thats so nice for Lisa Marie and her husband. Congrats to them.

But I really don’t understand why everyone is asuming that she had ivf. She is 40, and when you are over your 35 you have a increased chnge of getting twins and besides that it obviously runs in her family.
So can everybody please stop speculating about ivf etc, It doesnt matter how she got them but that she is going to get them. Just be happy for her and Michael.

- Sylvana on

Yeesh. Sure are alot of multiples being born this year. No surprise about Lisa Marie. Yeah Elvis was a twin but his twin brother, Jesse Garron, was stillborn (altho some think he’s still alive and are the reasons behind all the Elvis sightings).

- Caren on

Celebs have more twins because they have more $$$ to afford fertility treatments then we do.

- Molly on

Okay, this might not mean anything to anyone outside the UK, but Lisa Marie’s hubby looks like the younger version of the racing critic John McCruirick (sp?). I can’t wait to see those babies, I’m sure they’ll be so sweet!

- phoebe on

Fraternal- the releasing of more than one egg at a time that then become fertilized. Can be hereditary. 2 different placentas.

Identical- a random happening of one fertilized egg splitting and becoming 2 children. Can be mirror twins or simply exact replicas of each other. 1 shared placenta.

Please do not assume that when someone says that twins run in their family that they have had IVF. It is unfair to the couple.

- facingdawn on

Personally, I think the fact that women are having babies at more advanced ages is a big factor in the feeling that there are more multiple born now. Research indicates that ovulation often times accelerates as a woman gets older – which means she’s more prone to releasing more than one egg at a time. More babies born to women in their late 30′s, early 40′s – and you are going to see more multiples. I’m not saying fertility treatments aren’t a factor as well – just pointing out that maternal age and trends amongst women to have babies later also plays a part. I know several people who have conceived twins that are in their mid to late 30′s with no medical intervention, and no family history.

- madion on

Fraternal.Maybe she’ll have one of each! That’s always nice.

- JM on

On the ET website, it says she’s due in three months. Considering that twins are usually early, she’ll probably have them sooner.

- Marilyn on

why is an assumption about using IVF unfair? what does it matter if someone uses it to get pregnant? twins resulting from IVF are just as wonderful as twins resulting from mother nature. it doesn’t make the baby/babies any less special. it’s not some dirty little secret.

what bothers me is if celebrities aren’t honest (i’m not saying who is or isn’t). and granted, it’s not my business to know what happened the moment anyone conceives, but i just don’t understand why IVF pregnancies are secretive.

- marla on

By unfair I simply meant unfair to assume they are lying. Babies are babies, any way they come in they are miracles!!!

- facingdawn on

my sister was an older mum like lisa and she was told that the older you get the more chance of twins, and there was she had twins. LMP’s age plus that twins run in the family could be the reason why she is having them. Anyway, LMP has the love and money to raise the kids so why does it matter how they were concevied.

- sarah on

facingdawn, yes, i do believe it WOULD be unfair to assume IVF in this situation because of her age AND family history. The odds are with her.

- SH on

I think that just the fact that 17 CELEBS have had twins recently speaks for itself—IVF is being frequently used. Perhaps they are using it because they only have to go through one pregnancy to get two children, certainly because they can AFFORD multiples,AND the treatments and the extra help to raise them so that they still have time to go to premieres, get pedicures, go to spas, walk the red carpet, etc., etc. simply put things that the average “joe” would not be able to do—let alone afford the initial procedure.

- claudiazz on

I don’t understand why people think that using IVF of any other form of treatment is a bad thing. Alot of people these days need some form of “help” to conceive. Does it mean these children are less special? or that the parents are bad people?
The way it gets spoken about. “she’s having twins, but she used IVF” So what? It does not matter what way a child is conceived, you should just be happy for them. and stop ripping them to shreads, because they wanted a child and needed help to do that.

- Katie on

For Priscilla to announce they are fraternal means Lisa-Marie is definitely having a boy and girl! I’m pregnant with twins and they each have their own blood supply, but are the same sex. So I was told we won’t know for sure if they are identical and fraternal until the placenta is tested at birth. The only definite way of knowing if they are fraternal prior to birth is if they are different sexes.

- sadie on

Marla, people don’t like to discuss it, becasue it’s so personal and private and women do feel like they are failure when tehy fail to conceive naturally. I for one also have problems with conceiving adn i don’t wish to discuss our treatments with anyone, including my family, yet alone with people I don’t know. Everyone is asking us when we’re going to have kids and that we shouldnt wait anymore blah blah blah while we’re going through this heartbreak and dissapointments and pains and of course $$ burden. On top of that, we are put into akward situation when we have to explain people either something we dont want to discuss or lie. People just don’t mind their own business these days and ask the most private and embarassing questions.

On other hand, I found it very rude that angelina and brad were laughing about ivf rumours. There is seriously nothing to laugh about.

Katie, also, this applies to you. People just don’t want to discuss these things. I see myself as a failure, and if someoen with kids comes to me and asks did you use ivf to conceive im not going to say yes. IVF is a great things and kudos to those who are so open, I envy you and admire you, I will do my best to promote it and help others, but i dont want it to be public that i had to use it as well.

- Molly on

She wanted to be so secretive yet she said that’re fraternal!? She’s obviously having a boy and girl. The only way to know that they’re fraternal while still in utero is that it’s one boy and one girl! Cat’s out of the bag! Congrats Lisa Marie and Michael!!

- Justina on

what is with people dissing InVitro. Who honeslty cares? Let’s just be happy for Lisa Marie and Michael.

- Marilyn on

Add Julia Roberts to that list (b/g).

- Marilyn on

I love those names and I love how she’s remembering Elvis’ stillborn brother and mother…really sweet.

- SH on

It would be great if those were the names. Gladys was my grammy’s name and they hardly ever use it any more. Cant wait to see when they are born. :)

- michelle on

Hmmm, not sure about the names, or whether the sources speaks the truth! It’s a little convenient, and does sound a bit made-up really. Jesse’s an okay name, but Gladys is very very dated, I can’t imagine calling a child it, even if it was after a loved one.

- Rachel-Jane on

I like the names, maybe Gladys a little less but because it’s in honor of someone, it’s beautiful, and I think that Gladys Love Lockwood sounds good, maybe a little too much Lo sound, but doesn’t really matter. And Jesse Lockwood is good too. But as Gladys has a middle name I’m guessing the boy will too.

Can’t wait to hear if that’s true or not and to hear the real names

- Stéph on

My grandmother’s name was Gladys, and I’ve made it crystal clear to my family that I have no intention of carrying it onto my children. They fully agree with me, seeing as how Grandma’s nickname growing up was “Happy Bottom”. Get it? Glad —?

Yeah. Bad.

But the sentiment is nice :) Different strokes for different folks!

- Nicole on

If that’s true, I wonder why she didn’t name her two older kids that. Are they named after anyone?

- stephanie on

Where did the Love name go? I thought Gladys Love made it more beautiful than just Gladys.

- Stéph on

Steph –

We couldn’t confirm “Love” with our sources, so we took it out rather than having potentially incorrect information on the site. Hope that clears things up!

- Sarah, Staff Editor on

“If that’s true, I wonder why she didn’t name her two older kids that. Are they named after anyone?”

I believe her daughter, Riley’s first name is actually Danielle and she was named for her father, Lisa Marie’s first husband Danny Keough.

- marlee on

Also she had her first babies in her young 20s. Thinking ahead to family legacy may not have been a priority, but now that she’s 40 and knows these are her last babies it may have now become important to her.

- Annemarie on

Most of the celebrities that have had twins in the past two years have used IVF to conceive – NOT ALL, but most.

- Ellen Smith on

well I am not sure what to believe and I don’t think LMP is happy about more info getting out about her kids, but hey I guess it’s bound to happen. Perhaps she did this on purpose to throw off the media knowing fully they love to run with stories!!!

Jesse – yay! Gladys – Nay

Not bc it’s not a pretty name just VERY old fashion. Can’t picture baby today being named that….jmo of course :)

But I def. hope it’s a boy girl. That’s always wonderful to have one of each!

- JM on

Nicole….haha too funny “happy bottom!”

- JM on

Justina, that’s not true at all. You can tell if babies are fraternal because they have their own sacs and placentas because they were formed from two eggs instead of one egg. When an egg is fertilized, part of it becomes baby and part of it becomes placenta. If it is identical twins, then the original part that split to make the baby part is then divided into two, thus the reason why they share a placenta. While that is not ALWAYS the case, most of the time identical twins do share a sac and a placenta. In fraternal twins, since it is two eggs, they have two placentas and two sacs. You can absolutely tell that by ultrasound.

- Cait on

I know it says the boy will be named after Elvis’ twin, but wasn’t his twins name Aaron?

- Mandy on

She looks so beautiful.. I am so happy for the Presley family.. I am sure if Elvis was still here he would be proud

- sonja on

Aaron was Elvis’ middle name. The twin was Jesse Garon.

- Annemarie on

I’m not a big LMP fan, but I love Elvis. The man was beautiful. What a face, what a voice and what charisma he had. It’s a shame Elvis never had more children, especially a son to carry the Presley name. But, it’s a great thing that his daughter, Lisa Marie, decided to have more kids and has given her parents 4 grandchildren total. Hopefully one of the twins will look like their famous grandparents because both Elvis and Priscilla were gorgeous when they were younger. I wish Lisa Marie and her family the best. Her father’s legacy lives on through them. I’m sure he would be proud.

- Alexandra on

Now Garon is kind of cute and different. Maybe sounds too close to Karen but it does make a cute unique “family” name over Jesse. But I really hope it’s not Gladys lol.

- JM on

I think it would be WONDERFUL if she did name one of the twins Jesse in honour of her father Elvis’ twin brother who was stillborn :)

- M on

Cait, Justina is correct. As I posted earlier, I am pregnant with twins and each have their own sac – but as they are both girls, I have been told we will not know for sure if they are fraternal or identical until birth. Identical twins can have their own sacs too, although it is much less common. I’m no expert, but this was straight from the mouth of my very experience sonographer!!
So yes, it absolutely means she must be having a boy and a girl.

- sadie on

I think she is having girl/boy twins, but not sure if the names are just made up because of the family history. But if she does decide to name her kids after her dad’s side, that’s a great thing. Wow elvis only had 1 child, but he has 4 grandchildren from her, how lovely. Riley totally looks like a presley, curious about these babies. And now she will have 2 girls and 2 boys, that’s pretty cool.

- brooke on

No matter how it came about, it is great that she and hubby are starting a family together of their own, all the best to them both, and I know they will enjoy these babies as much as she enjoyed having her other children. It will be a great help to her to have the older children around to help care for these two precious babies. No matter how old you are or how they are brought into the world a new life is a miracle in itself and should be the happiest time for the parents, and Lisa has done well to speak her mind on the issue and set the record straight about all the nasty remarks about her out there over the past few months. I wish them both all the Best. Twins can come in any family even without it being on either side, I have a sister who had twins and there is no twins on either side of her family or her husbands and she started the trend and without any medical help from the Dr;s.in her family, and maybe someday her twins will have twins. If there are twins on either side of the mother or father there is a good chance it will show up in the children and grandchildren without the help of medical aids. With Lisa’s family history of twins on both sides no wonder she is having twins, it could happen without drinking the water or the hormones in cows for sure.

- Lorrie on

Sadie, Cait, and Justina -
I think that most of the time identicals have separate sacs with 1 placenta – di/mono twins. Identicals that are in the same sac with the same placenta are called mono/mono twins and only happen 1-2% of the time. Very uncommon. Fraternals always have 2 sacs and 2 placentas no matter what sex they are.

- SH on

I’m so glad I don’t shop at Petit Tresor or Plain Mary…they have pretty loose lips. First the Cruises, then the Jolie-Pitts, now this family. If LMP or her family wanted this news known, I’m sure they would have shared it themselves.

- Jen on

Jen, what is wrong with stores talking about who shops there? Why should celebrities daily goings-on be top secret? They are, afterall, celebrities and the public made them rich, and if the public likes to know what they do in their everyday lives then I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. Imo, it’s a bit snobby to suggest that everything celebs do should be hush-hush.

- SarahLee on

Elvis was a twin, so I can see it running in her family. I hope they will both be healthy babies, I wish her the best.

- Denise on

SaraLee-
Celebrity or not, why is it ok for a store to tell other people what someone is buying? The fact that Lisa IS a celebrity should be even more of a reason NOT to let it out. Some people don’t want anyone to know the sexes of THEIR babies until they’re born! It’s called common courtesy…and that’s bad business on the stores’ part.

- SH on

If Lisa Marie is having a boy and a girl, I think that Jesse Garon Presley Lockwood and Gladys Love Presley Lockwood would be the most beautiful and most honorable names that they could possibly name the children. Actually, I think it would be the right thing to do. I think that there would be nothing that would make Elvis more proud than that if he were alive today.
