Lindsay Hartley's New Role: Stay-at-home Mom

Lindsay Hartley has spent the last nine years of her life portraying Passions‘ Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald Crane, but now that the show has ended, she’s enjoying being a stay-at-home mom for the first time. Saying that 4-year-old daughter Isabella Justice is at "such a great age," Lindsay shares that they like to "just hang out .. she wants to dress up and wears my heels all the time." The 30-year-old is also impressed with how knowledgeable Isabella is.

Today, I taught her bingo with math problems. You take away cents and the apple goes on the number you end up with. She’s just starting, but I was surprised.

Lindsay isn’t planning on finding a new job anytime soon — her husband, former Passions actor Justin Hartley, is providing for the family with his return to the television show Smallville. A drawback is that Justin, 31, has to leave their California home and film in Canada every two weeks per the show’s filming schedule. However, now both Lindsay and Isabella can go with him.

He returned this morning from two weeks on, so he’ll be home almost two weeks and then he’ll go back, but we’ll go back with him this time. Then I’ll hang out with Isabella up there. It’s beautiful up there.

Is Smallville taped in Vancouver? I dont watch that show but I think Linsday is so pretty and I’d love to meet her !! Hopefully I bump into her in the mall or Granville Island

Yes Smallville is taped in the GVRD. I loved Justin and Lindsay! I am so excited that she gets to take some time off. Hopefully when she returns to work it will be something a little more dynamic that Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald.

Yes Molly, Smallville is taped in the Vancovuer, BC, area. I’ve seen them taping at UBC and other areas. I’m surprised Smallville is still on the air. It’s not as good as it was; it’s awfully dark now, and with John Schneider’s departure it kind of went downhill from there, plus the characters aren’t aging as quickly as they should considering how old the actors are in RL.

Btw, that’s such a cute daughter the Hartleys have! I used to watch Passions, but it was just too inane to be believable even in the soap opera world, and it is unfortunate Lindsay played a very unlikable character but she is a pretty good actor.

Passions storylines were so crazy. I cant believe it lasted as long as it did.

Lindsay was great! It was weird hearing she married Justin (Fox character) when she was madly in love with Ethan character on the show.

I loved Lindsay on Passions. She is one of my fave soap stars. I’m glad that she is getting the opportunity to hang out with her family more.

I loved fox. He was so likable and romantic. I also liked Gwen a lot. DH loved Rebecca when he was in high school. I also cant believe how much time I spent watching it (but I was knitting for my online store so at least I got some $$ out of that lol )

Isabella is such a cutie! She looks so much like Lindsay.

I loved Passions, even though is was crazy! I cried like a baby while watching the finale! Lindsay did a wonderful job with Theresa but I am glad that she will now be able to spend what is probably some much needed time with her family. Who knows…maybe they will start on baby #2!

OMG I watched the Passions finale. It was so cheasy, but I was hapy to see Theresa and Ethan get married….finally. My favorite was how Rebecca “forgot” to get Gwen divorced when she was so gung ho on Gwen and Ethan staying together.

Isabella looks so much like her dad to me. She definitely has his eyes and coloring. I still remember when they first announced she was born and showed a newborn photo of her.

And I’m glad that Lindsay and Isabella are able to go along with him now that the Passions is over. I missed the finale, as crazy as it sounded…lmao. Then again, that show was crazy from the get-go. Yet, I still watched…

I used to watch Passions on and off from its debut until they took it off NBC. I’m bummed to hear that Ethan and Gwen didn’t end up together. One day I’ll have to catch up on the later storylines.

omg how can she not have married ETHAN (Eric Martsolf) in real life? How did she not fall in love with him in real life, I mean their chemistry on Passions and Days of our lives was just incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m glad she married the original Fox from Passions, atleast it’s someone from passions lol… even thought the show was weird (the script/lines or whatever) it’s still by far my favourite!!! all because of theresa and ethans chemistry.
