Maclaren has just introduced its newest "Objects of Design" collection from Japanese fashion house, Mina Perhonen. The Limited Edition Mina Perhonen line for Maclaren features asignature butterfly embellished print in navy and white for boys, andfuchsia and turquoise for girls. The motif comes from creator and chief designer  Akira Minagawa’s aspiration to make beautiful designs like those of butterfly wings (in Finnish, “Minä" means "I" and "perhonen" is "butterfly"). The Mina Perhonen stroller is based on Maclaren’s best-selling Quest model, which is suitable for babies from three months old, includesa 5-point adjustable harness, four seat positions, foot-operatedparking brakes, UV protective viewing window, reflective accents fornight time safety, a round hood with storage pocket, andextendable leg rests.

Past Objects of Design collaborators have included Burberry, Kate Spade, Lacoste, Lulu Guinness, Philippe Starck, andShanghai Tang.

The Mina Perhonen strollers retail for $325 and are exclusively available at the Maclaren SoHoShowroom through the end of 2008. To order, call 212.677.2700.
