Actress mom Katie Holmes, 29, and the 2-year-old had just seen The Little Mermaid on Broadway, a spot Katie has become quite familiar with as her new play, All My Sons, enters rehearsals.

This is cute! Suri looks so cute and is getting soo big! I do though wish Katie looked more her age. I don’t know if its because Tom is older than her but she deff. looks much older than 29. I mean she is still in her 20′s and she looks like she is 39, I just wonder if she feels pressured to look that way since she is married to an older man. It is still is a cute pic!

I know Katie has a lot more responsibilities now that she’s a mom and also stepmother to Tom’s other two children, but I can’t get over how old she looks. She doesnt look like she’s in her 20′s. If I didnt know who she was, I would guess her age as 37.

First of all, Suri is an absolute adorable little girl.
Secondly, I agree with y’all who said that Katie looks much older than her age. If this is just how she likes to dress, who am I to criticize. If she likes it, I love it. But I can’t help to remember how young she looked in Mad Money. That movie is not that old and then she looked maybe mid 20s. Here she looks mid to late 30s.

Not sure I can call the new “rolled jeans” faze stylish — or any of the other odd ensembles (read jeans, sweaters, etc. in NY!) I agree that she looks very old and outdated. Poor Suri looks none too happy – can’t be easy being a mom and dealing with the paps. Sometimes i wish they would use their resources and use the back door. Not fair to them but certainly easier for Suri. (She is also looking so grown up! Not even the same child IMO)

I don’t know where you can get Suri’s actual shoes from, but the British shop Monsoon does a (probably) much cheaper version (almost identical). I bought some for my daughter and she loves them. I think they have a website but I’m not sure where they ship to.

Wow you guys are being really critical of the way Katie looks. To even suggest shes trying to look older because shes married to Tom Cruise is just ridiculous. Short hair makes people look older. Thats all. She is always changing her hair and clothing style for fun anyway. Why shouldn’t she get rid of the baby faced pony-tailed Dawsons Creek look?

I’ve never been a ‘fan’ of hers,but she seems like she’s changed since she got with Tom. she’s trying to look more sophisticated and grown up. she should just be herself and dress how she wants to. she didn’t seem to worry that much about her looks before she was with Tom. I think it’s sad that the only reason a lot of people even know who she is is because she’s married to Tom Cruise (whom I absolutely can’t stand). whatever happened to being recognized for your talent? she was good on Dawson’s Creek,but now she seems like she’s trying too hard to impress people

Oh my, I think you guys are silly. LOL Katie looks lovely. She has a very stylish short hairdo. To me (a 56 year old) she looks like a beautiful 20 something.
I am not sure about some of the clothes she has been wearing lately. I haven’t seen anyone else wearing their husband’s jeans.
I do feel sorry for Suri. I saw more of these pics on X17 and she looks terrified. When the child is holding her ears and crying, the pap’s and fans should back off.
Anyway, I just had to comment on the fact that some her think she looks (so old). Bah…She looks beautiful.

I agree I too think that Katie looks a lot older than what she really is! It’s ashame too because used to be cute and look like her age before Tom. I think she had to grow up pretty fast since being with Tom.

I was just about to give a comment about how I think Katie looks WAYYY older than 29 and that I hoped I didn’t get berated. However, I was pleasantly surprised by other people that actually agree with me. I’m not sure why she looks so much older than 29 but she does. I don’t think people are being critical of her just observing and telling the truth!

Katie does not look old at all. Infact I am 26 and I think she looks very beautiful and stylish. Suri is annoyed obviously by all the noise and she is trying to help her make light of it since this is going to be her life. Love them.

The pictures from this are so, so sad to me. That poor little girl is absolutely terrified and it is pretty shameful that these pictures are being sold- and I really am one who think celebs who complain about the paparazzi are being bratty! This just turned my stomach. She didn’t ask for the attention. What I find most disturbing is that Katie seems to be enjoying the attention, despite Suri clearly being distressed.

There are many, many more pics of this night floating around and I totally agree with you Astrid – Katie seems oblivious to how distressed Suri really is. She should have grabbed Suri and just bolted out of there, but instead took her time, smiled for the paps, and her daughter ended up in tears. Not cool.

So Suri is old enough to attend an evening performance of a Broadway show but still constantly sucks on a bottle? Interesting.
And I agree with Astrid and Lucy-the photos of them coming in and out of the theater are very disturbing, not the least of which is the fact that Katie seems completely oblivious to Suri’s feelings. She is clearly distressed and bordering on tears, and all Katie does is away like nothing’s wrong. I don’t envy that child.

Not really a fan of Katie’s hairstyle and things, it does make her look ages older and she’s only round my age. I don’t mean to say she should go round in ponytails or anything but why would you want to look older than you are before your time? Her transformation definitely took place when she started dating Tom and she doesn’t resemble the cheeky young fresh faced girl of only a couple of years back.

I don’t think that Katie is oblivious to her daughter’s distress, maybe she is trying to put on a happy face and make Suri feel a little better. I do agree that she is Tom like in appearance…speaking of Tom where is he? I haven’t seen all three of them in a picture together for quite a while.
