I’m not exactly her biggest fan, but I do think her and her ex-husband really fit together as a couple and it’d be really nice to see them back together!

I’m with you, too, Carie. Michelle, whether he “remembers” or not, it’s got to be somewhat confusing to have Owen Owen Owen… then no Owen. Then Lance Lance Lance… then no Lance. The very intensity and short-term nature of these relationships, and the level of intimacy they *seem* (yes, you’re right, he might not know what goes on behind closed doors, then again, she’s notoriously “open”) to have, with introductions to other people’s children (Lance’s). I can’t agree with that. I’m not saying she shouldn’t have her fun, but so many, so soon? My mom dated and I only met two of the boyfriends and I’m talking from the time my parents split when I was just walking (9 mos) until I was 10 and she turned down her last marriage proposal. I really literally only met the first one, and the one who proposed I had somewhat more a relationship with, but even then, even though I knew they must have been having sex, it wasn’t something I could say for sure because he never stayed over and she never stayed out all night.

I’m not saying that Kate has to be celibate, I’m just saying that Ryder is really young and to create these relationships with guys, having it be very intense for a short amount of time, then having them leave must make him sad – because he must like them – and leave him a bit confused. But she, at least, is constant, and is a hands-on Mom.

It has always seemed to me that Kate and Chris are still in love … I hope they get back together for good one day soon! Little Ryder has two great parents.

I hardly see her staying home and watching her son sleep. She’s out partying all the time and at events and with her boyfriends..I mean you cannot have a boyfriend without taking time away from your kids. I’m a single mother with a great relationship with my ex and I never waste my time on men and when I have dated I never bring them around my son. She needs to read the newest articles about her and learn a thing or two. Maybe actually stay home and watch her son sleep instead of just saying it to sound like a good responsible mother.

Just becasue we see Kate and Ryder photographed with men she is supposedly dating doesn’t mean that she is introducing them to Ryder as her boyfriend or having the men sleep over. I am sure Ryder has pre-school friends that are girls so why can’t mommy have adult friends that are boys? Just because WE know what they do behind closed doors doesn’t mean that she does it in front of Ryder.

My parents divorced when I was 4 and I have absolutely no recollection, other than random snippets, of any of the men she dated before she remarried. I vaguely remember that one had a house in Arkansas with horses, but really I just remember the horses. : )

It’s easy to say they might as well be together. But that is not the case. Because they live seperate lives, they can get along greatly as friends and co parent Ryder.
Chris has a girlfriend for a while now that he is serious about. She is on tour with him now. She has really been a part of his life and also, Ryder’s life.
Kate and Chris are not going to decide to have a baby together, that complicates things and I doubt his girlfriend would go for that.

I don’t know. I’m guess I’m just not that into her lately. The serial dating and putting her son in so many close situations with all the new boyfriends kinda turns me off. I don’t think it’s healthy. Although I can see why someone would want to know right away if their son likes the person, but still….it just seems unhealthy in other ways. I used to like her so much more, I’ll admit.

I absolutely love Kate and Chris. I just think it’s wonderful how they have always put Ryder first and shown each other total respect. I definitely think it’s so much healthier for the child when you can do that…sadly that isn’t always realistic.
