Me-in-Mind Footwear: Baby Needs a New Pair of These Shoes
Baby shoes with a skull and crossbones? Crazy concept but I cracked up when I saw the fun products that the folks at Me-In-Mind are putting out for babies and toddlers. I dressed my daughter in a pair of the girl’s sandals (where the skull is donning a bow, natch; see photo at left) the other day and she looked like a little rock star. Too bad she doesn’t know how to sign autographs yet.
It’s no surprise that the designs — which include a trucker girl booty, a tattoo slip-on, plaid flip-flops, and canvas sneakers in solids and stripes — are created by a dad. But the shoes (which range from $22 to $26) aren’t just cool: They’re well-crafted and, more importantly, will stay on your little one’s feet. Although footwear is the specialty, parents tired of seeing their kids wander around with plumber-butt will be thrilled with Me-in-Mind’s matching belts ($14). The company is also expanding into clothing, so expect plenty more fun things to buy soon. This is definitely a brand to keep an eye on.
