Stephanie McMahon Levesque and Triple H Welcome Murphy Claire

Stephanie McMahon Levesque, 31, World Wrestling Entertainment’s Executive Vice President of Talent and Creative Writing, and her husband, WWE Superstar Paul "Triple H" Levesque, 39, welcomed daughter Murphy Claire Levesque today, Monday, July 28th. She weighed 8 lbs, 12 oz. Murphy joins the couple’s first child, daughter Aurora Rose, 2.  July is a big month for the family — Aurora was born July 24th and Paul on July 27th.

The couple, who were married on October 25, 2003, officially announced the pregnancy in February.

Damn 0-2 for Paul again for his birthday. this time it was off by a day. Next time around i hope the baby comes in a different month. Maybe september next time. and maybe the next baby won’t be born on monday to. It’s like they plan this. i hope that doesn’t sound mean.

Plus the news hasn’t been confirmed yet. SO right now take everything up there as a rumor.

Honestly, the name Murphy is growing on me. But it still makes me think of Murphy Brown. I used to watch that show faithfully…lmao.

I’m so happy they had another girl!

I was wondering if this baby would ever come into this world, it felt like we were waiting an eternity.

At first when I saw this name I wasn’t fond of it, but after saying it outloud over and over again, it’s growing on me. I think she’ll be going by her middle name though.

I’m not sure I buy this until I read it on wwe.com or it’s announced on WWE programming. PW Insider incorrectly boasted that Randy Orton was expecting a son this year (his daughter Alanna Marie was born July 12) and also claimed that Aurora was going to be a boy named Aiden so they’re not 100% certain. Not to mention Aurora’s birth was announced on Raw and was on wwe.com minutes afterward. If she was born today, why no mention? If it’s true, congrats to them, but I’m waiting for official word from the Levesques.

I loved Triple H back in the day esp when he was with Shawn Michaels and DX. LOL Not crazy about the name Murphy just doesn’t sound feminine..sounds like a old man’s name. I think girls should have pretty girly names. I do like Clair tho.

Congrats to Steph and Paul they are lucky to have two daughters who will no dobut be just as beautiful as they parents. Aurora Rose will be a good big sister to Murphy Clarie and I think they will be close as they grow up like they mom and uncle was.

I had just seen this tidbit over at one of the reputable wrestling sites i visit, and was going to send the info to CBB, but i can see someone beat me to it. Congrats to Steph and Paul..i am kinda surprised it wasn’t mentioned on Raw last night like they did with Aurora.. unless because Triple H(Paul) got put on smackdown they wait until Friday to say something.. oddly enough, it is not mentioned on the WWE homepage either as Aurora’s birth was.

Seems like I know a few of you on here! The name is growing on me. I like Claire better than Murphy. I tend to think of a boy, but everyone is naming there kids diffrent names these days. Maybe Paul will get a boy next time. Steph says she want 4 or 5!

That seems really odd to me to name one girl with such a beautiful feminine name (Aurora) and the other with a name like Murphy. I think Murphy will always be jealous of her sister’s beautiful name. That is why I named my girls Olivia and Eliana.

Surprised as of now – it’s not on http://WWW.WWE.COM but then I think it took a few days for Randy Orton’s baby’s announcement –
(which by the way wasn’t mentioned on RAW) — I think the only reason they mentioned Aurora’s birth was Triple H, Shane and Mr. McMahon had to leave during the show as Stephanie was in labor. Not sure at this point if it’s 100% true that the new arrival is here – but if she is — then many congrats to Paul, Stephanie and Aurora on the new addition into their lives. I’m very happy for them.

RESPONSE TO MOLLY:

I am a long-time subscriber to the site, so the stuff you wrote seemed odd. I was pretty sure PWInsider.com has never written about planned baby names or such things and usually stays away from the personal side of professional wrestler lives.

Still, a quick google search doesn’t show any of the “incorrect facts” you claimed PWInsider reported in the past attributed to them ANYWHERE, so either you are incorrectly remembering or you read something on a website or message board they have no connection to, that was wrongfully credited to PWInsider. Sadly, that happens a lot with the lower wrestling websites.

On a lighter note, how long before Triple H has the kids Pedigreeing each other?

At first when I saw the name Murphy I was like “Yay a boy!” then I saw the middle name of Claire and I was like “Oh wait…”

Murphy Claire is an interesting name. Im well aware that it’s a unisex name…but I dunno if I’d wanna go thru life with a name that means Famous (Claire) Sea Warrior (Murphy) Bishop (Levesque) *lol*

Steph is indeed a fan of the show Murphy Brown tho so that’s no doubt where they chose the name from.

Congratulations to both Paul and Stephanie. I was lucky enough to see Paul at an event in Charlotte NC a couple of weeks ago and after the show, he stopped off to say hello to fans, one of which had a little baby. He took time to say hello and give the baby a little sweet attention, it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. We see him as a big tough guy and to see a side of him as a “Daddy” was just priceless. Again congrats to them both, as well as to little Aurora, who will now get a chance to “show the ropes” to her little sister, Murphy. I just cant wait to see her first photo in comparison to Aurora’s just two years ago.

When Aurora was born didn’t it make Paul and Stephanie mad and they wanted it taken down because it broke character? I don’t think they wanted it announced as its private. I do find it strange that Shane was on Raw and Vince was at a hotel and when a fan congratulated him he didn’t respond.

WWE.com had Aurora’s birth announcement minutes after it was announced, so why not this time? WWE.com confirmed Stephanie’s pregnancy, so why not announce the birth. Randy Orton’s child is different than the VP of the creative team and one half of the most high profile couple in wrestling.

I strongly recommend CBB list this as rumoured until wwe.com posts an official birth announcement on behalf of the Levesques.
