I sit corrected, but even so 12 girls is still a lot when compared to 4 boys out of 16 kids.

They haven't all been girls. Brandi Chastain's son Jaden, Kate Markgraf's son Keegan, Carla Overbeck's son Jackson, and Danielle Fotopouls's son Vasilios are 4 that I can remember.

Congrats to Kristine and Dave. I was really surprised to read that out of the twelve babies born to the women on the USA soccer team all have been girls! Makes me wonder if there's something about the kind of athletics or food they eat that the vaginal and cervical environment would make them more prone to having female babies. If there's any researchers out there, this would make a really good topic to research, babies born to female team members (i.e., softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, etc.) just to see if there's a pattern.
