David Duchovny Opens Up About Family Life
Although he’s previously said he doesn’t believe in an afterlife, David Duchovny does believe in heaven on earth, and says he’s found it in wife Téa Leoni and their two children Madelaine West, 9, and Kyd Miller, 6. When asked in a recent interview about his idea of heaven David replied "just being at home with my family is great." The 47-year-old actor also said that despite the fame and fortune that often accompanies his profession, West and Miller "don’t care about the work I do." He adds,
"Children just care about having a stable home, having a mom and dad, and we spend a lot of time with them. We try to work at different times so that we are not both away too much."
If he has an extravagance, David says it would be the ability to afford two homes at once; his family is about to move to New York, David revealed, while still keeping their home in Malibu.
"We like to travel a lot with the kids and that’s a luxury. When I grew up, I was in Manhattan the whole time. But my kids have been all over the world."
