Take a Look Back at PEOPLE Magazine's Best Baby Covers

While we wait for the newest crop of celebrity babies to make their magazine debuts, why not look back on some of our old favorites?PEOPLE has published a new gallery of their best covers featuring celebrity babies. From Jennifer Lopez, who introduced her fraternal twins Max and Emme, to Nicole Richie, who says that daughter Harlow, now 6 months, has "given life a whole new meaning," the trend of celebrity babies appearing on magazine covers only continues to increase.

Other celebrities who have graced PEOPLE’s covers with their offspring include Tori Spelling, Marcia Cross, Patrick Dempsey, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Brooke Shields, Julia Roberts and many more.

i think that cover of angelina with zahara was absolutly beautiful.
i was also reminded of how lisa marie’s daughter was born danielle, which has now been changed to riley.

I think I read that people mag bought this website , but I was hoping that it wouldnt change and be a slew of people ads/promo.

Gigi her name has not been changed. Riley is her middle name, and they use that.

I actually stumbled across the cover gallery by accident a few weeks ago. I agree with Gigi about the Zahara cover. I hadn’t even been aware that PEOPLE had done a cover with Zahara when she was newly adopted. I love the headline “Saved by a Mother’s Love”. She was indeed!

It was funny to see the really old covers. You can clearly see the rise of photoshop. Not a good thing in my opinion.
The headlines are also quite cheesy at times: “Boy Oh Boy” and later “Oh Boy!” haha
