British Actress Julia Haworth Welcomes Sophia Elizabeth

It’s a girl for Coronation Street actress Julia Haworth and her husband Jon Wormald, her rep confirms. Julia, 28, gave birth to daughter Sophia Elizabeth at 7:45 a.m. on Friday in the UK. Weighing in at 8 lbs, 11 oz, Sophia is the first child for the couple. In a statement, Julia said,

Words cannot describe how proud we are of our beautiful daughter. She is everything we hoped for and so much more.

Julia and Jon announced the pregnancy in January. In April, they did a photoshoot with Hello! magazine, detailing their experience thus far.

i saw Julia walking through a shopping centre back in june i was on holiday in the uk i commented to a friend i bet she has a girl !!! and i was right i dont know if she knew it was a girl ,but i do watch coronation street over here in oz so congrats to julia and jon
