Ethan Hawke Gives a Glimpse of Baby Clementine

Actor/author Ethan Hawke, 37, and wife Ryan Shawhughes, 28, were spotted returning to their NYC home this morning with 7-day-old daughter Clementine Jane, who arrived July 18th. This is our first peek at the baby girl, who is the third child for Ethan, also dad to Maya Ray, 10 and Levon Roan, 6 ½.

Maybe it’s too early to be saying she looks like one parent over the other, but I swear I see a lot of Ryan in her. I think it’s the nose lol. Sweet baby and congratulations to Ethan and Ryan, Clementine is a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl.

Yeah I’m going to second Gigi, seven days since she was born and Clementrine’s already made the pages of CBB! lol!

Yeah it’d be cool to see some of the other new celebrity babies (Halle daughter, the Jolie-Pitt twins, an updated pic of Noel Gallagher’s son Donovan, etc.) but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

i like their laid back approach. I cant imagine how hard it must be hounded by paps all the time, but they seem to just take a casual approach, like they are living everyday life.

They are definitely living everyday life and don’t seem to be hounded by the paps ALL the time – I’ve seen Ethan with his older kids (and dog) at various playgrounds around Manhattan and no one bothered him at all.

Pictures of Halle Berry’s daughter were on Just Jared, but they weren’t of her face. The paps took them from some distance, but you can see her hair (curly) and skin color (like mom’s). I think Halle made a mistake in not doing a People mag cover to help lessen the interest and keep the paps away. JMO.

i forgot where i saw them..sorry.. but there was a pic of Halle holding open her wallet and letting people shopping see her baby. It looked like the baby was in a onesee.

The baby resembles Ethan so far. I can’t wait to see halle’s baby, I bet she is a beauty. I saw the pics of her in justjared, she has halle’s complexion and rumor is she has blue eyes.

It seems a little invasive for the paparazzi to be shooting pictures of this family bringing their daughter home for the first time. At least it looks like they kept their distance, somewhat.

Terri this was not the first time they brought her home. They had just been out running errands or a pediatrician visit or something. They went home from the hospital on Monday and didn’t announce the birth until they were already home.
