Tori Spelling Shares Why Stella "Is Like a Girl"

Tori_dean_008_cbbStella Doreen McDermott knows exactly what she wants and isn’t shy about asking for it!  Different than her 16-month-old brother Liam Aaron — who is said to be "adapting well" to his baby sister — Stella, 6 weeks, "is a lot more vocal."  Tori Spelling jokingly explained that her chubby-cheeked daughter "is like a girl" as "we want what we want when we want it!"

As for her great post-pregnancy body, the 90210 actress says that it isn’t a result of diet nor exercise since "I had a c-section."  Instead Tori shares her secrets, crediting some good fortune and her life as a mom to an energetic toddler!

All I can say is breastfeeding, luck, and a 16-month old who is running everywhere!

Did you find that your weight loss was different after your second pregnancy because you were running after a toddler?

Breastfeeding is not only the best thing a mother can do for her baby and herself — but has the added bonus of helping shed some excess baby weight.

It doesn’t work for everyone, but for me — breastfeeding has very much helped.

I’m still nursing my 9.5 month old and weigh about 10lbs less now than I did pre-pregnancy.

It’s so nice to see some celebrity moms be so spoken about breastfeeding, it’s shocking the amount of women who choose not to even try because they see formula to be equal to breastfeeding, or easier — the lack of information is costing a lot of babies health — sure, the “Breast is best” message is put out everywhere, but the real information — the risks of artificial feeding (formula) is not being told to expectant mothers, who aren’t trying to educate themselves on infant nutrition.
They see formula and breast milk to be two equal choices — when in actual fact, formula in no way compares — for hundreds of reasons.

I commend celebrities such as Tori, Gwen, Nicole, Christina, Maggie and Jessica for speaking up about breastfeeding — if only to say it helps lose weight!
Even if a young mother only breastfeeds just to lose weight, it’s better than nothing.
