Minnie Driver Looks Forward To Life With Baby
While Minnie Driver has repeatedly said that she doesn’t want to say who the father is "because he didn’t choose to get dragged into the media," the actress does admit that with only a month to go until baby Thomas or Isabel arrives, she is "fine" with all the daddy speculation. Earlier on in the pregnancy though — while battling morning sickness — Minnie "couldn’t have dealt with" the constant hounding" of the press to identify the father calling herself "far more intolerant in the beginning, far more hormonal." Whether or not the public ever finds out who the dad is, Minnie — who wants to move past it all, "have the baby and get on with my life" — has made it clear that her child will have their father around; however, that doesn’t necessarily mean that she thinks there will be wedding bells anytime soon saying, "You don’t need to [get married] because being a single mom is accepted."
With her upcoming movie Take — set to release this month — the 38-year-old "working girl" is determined to continue on with her career and "this baby knows that" — but not before spending a stretch of quality time with the new addition. Taking on "full mommy time all through the fall and early winter," the duo will eventually return to movie sets together with the expectant mom confident her baby "is up for it" and that it "will be on set with me."

As Minnie’s movie career continues to blossom and her due date approaches, the actress considers herself "grateful" that she is finally on the verge of completing her dream to be a mother — albeit it a bit later than she expected!
I’m surprised it’s taken this long to tell you the truth. When I was much younger, I never envisioned waiting until my mid-30′s to have a kid. I thought I would be much younger.
With the press desperate to catch photos of Minnie and her belly, sometimes the need for a picture can go a bit too far — which was exactly what happened during a recent outing to the beach with fellow actor, Colin Farrell, who is dating her close friend. The trio — who "were just having a day at the beach" with Colin’s son James — were "chased off by these paparazzi running at us with cameras." The flashing lights and badgering photographers — in what Minnie calls "a Robin Hood scenario" — were soon confronted by surfers on the Malibu beach. While she "doesn’t condone the violence at all," Minnie credits her community saying that "they were just defending people trying to have a normal afternoon." While the heroic rescue got a bit rough, "it didn’t stop one guy from selling his pictures for big bucks," causing Minnie to think that "maybe a punch in the nose was worth it to him…it wasn’t really justice."
