Marcia Cross is Always "Thinking in Twos"

Marcia_cross_cbbjpg

Actress Marcia Cross has her hands full with 16 ½-month-old fraternal twins Savannah and Eden, but the 46-year-old mom doesn’t realize how busy she is because at this point, it’s all she knows. "I am asked about what it is like to take care of twins and I always respond that I know nothing different," says Marcia, adding that she "think[s] in twos." The Desperate Housewives star does wish she could give each of the girls her "undivided attention more often," but is happy they have one another.

Of course the pleasure they get from each other is beyond the sweetest thing I have ever seen between two people and I know that bond will continue to grow day by day. I thank God they have each other.

Marcia loves spending time with the girls and is hoping to pass on her love of reading to them, saying, "I hope they will continue to love reading as much as they do now." She is doing her best to ensure that is the case by "going to the library and getting new ones [books] each week," something that she remembers doing "with my mother and it is such a happy memory." When not reading, Marcia simply enjoys "looking in my daughters’ eyes, watching them discover new things and cuddling with them before bed."

To be the best mother than she can be, the actress offers the simply advice of "cherish each moment" and "take care of you."

My girls have a happy mom and I think that is a gift to them as well as to me.

She’s sooo right!!! You don’t have to be someone else to be happy, cherish the moments and be good to yourself, that way you’ll have more strength to be good to your loved once. Marcia you’re great mom!!!

What she said is so true, if you only have twins you really don’t know any different. She seems like a terrific Mom, I’m so happy that she got to experience motherhood. She makes me want to have twins (well almost) LOL By far one of my fav moms!

That was always my response. My twins were my firsts so I had no idea what raising one child would be like. Now that I’ve had a singleton, having a single baby is a billion times easier! Although, twins didn’t seem tough at the time, ha ha.
