Jerry O'Connell Says He & Rebecca Romijn "Trying Hard" For a Baby

Although wife Rebecca Romijn wasn’t able to be with her husband Jerry O’Connell at FOX’s All Star party Monday night — the couple’s one-year wedding anniversary — Jerry, 34, still had fun, thanks to his Do Not Disturb co-star Niecy Nash. When talk on the red carpet turned to babies, Jerry jokingly said that "Niecy’s teaching me how it all works, what to do, where to go, how to do it." He added that he and Rebecca "are definitely trying…hard" to have a child.

i wonder how that’s gonna work w/ her character on ugly betty seeing as how she’s a post op transexual…

Her character on Ugly Betty is not going to be a series regular next season but will only be appearing on a few episodes, and the network decided that a couple of months ago. I think they said that they had done as much as they could with Alexis without repeating the same story over and over again. They could probably work around a pregnancy if they needed to since it’s not in every episode. She could carry something in front of her stomach or sit behind a desk.

Guess Rebecca being taken off the regular Ugly Betty cast list may be a blessing in disguise for them. Maybe she would not have slowed down and had a baby right now if she had been working steadily. She’s already in her mid-30′s, so this may be reall good timing fo her (in case it doesn’t happen right away, she’ll have time to try for a while).

did anyone else ever hear or see an interview she did after that scary movie a few years back where she played a mother? seems like she said working with a child was the most uncomfortable thing she had ever done and decided she didn’t want children after that. and i always heard she and john stamos split because of that, i don’t know. maybe not! anyways i’m glad she changed her mind because they would have a beautiful baby! good luck to them!
