Metallica's Kirk Hammett Welcomes Second Son, Vincenzo Kainalu

Kirk Hammett, lead guitarist for the heavy metal group Metallica, and his wife Lani welcomed second son Vincenzo Kainalu on Saturday, June 28th.  Vincenzo joins older brother Angel Ray Keala, 21 months.  According to the group’s website "mom and son are doing great" while "Angel and dad are coping."

The 45-year-old and Lani have been married since 1998.

I was so hoping for a little girl – Kirk and Lani would create a pretty girl, but Metallica seem set on mostly boys, lol, excluding James. But yay for Kirk and Lani, Angel is beautiful and I’m sure this new little one will be too.

I can’t remember if I read about him and Lani expecting again or not… But congrats to them on their new boy. I like the name.

I’m just laughing at how Kirk and Angel are “coping”. That just came off as funny to me.
