Christian Bale says he won't miss daughter's childhood "for anything"
In the August issue of GQ UK, actor Christian Bale says he wants to teach his 3-year-old daughter "’whatever you do, do it completely." That’s why you won’t see the 34-year-old actor shying away from stunts in his films. Says Christian,
People will say, ‘Why is he still doing this crazy s–t?’ But I’m OK with that. I’d like my daughter to see me do these things, as I saw my father do some crazy things and I learned to appreciate it.
Regardless of the role, Christian says he has no interest in being taken away from Emmaline for long periods of time. "I’m not going to miss her growing up for anything," he vows, "not even for Batman." Calling his daughter a "little rascal," Christian says that the time the two spend together is "just incredible." He adds,
I’m certainly not going to be one of those fathers who picks up a photo of his daughter and has regrets about not being around.
Emmaline is the first child for Christian and wife Sandra ‘Sibi’ Blazic, who married in 2000.
