Gabriela Spanic welcomes first child, son Gabriel de Jesús

Venezuelan actress Gaby Spanic welcomed her first child, son Gabriel de Jesús, on Thursday, July 10th at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida.  The proud new mother — who says her baby boy "came into this world to fill me with happiness" — thanked her friends and family for loving and supporting her during such a special time in her life.

To have my son by my side has been life and God’s greatest gift, I thank you for your good wishes, your prayers, and your forever support.

Gabriel de Jesus’ father and Gaby’s boyfriend is businessman Neil Perez.

The 34-year-old actress had announced the pregnancy in January and showed off her tummy on a special episode of El Show de Cristina in April.
