Found: Jack Black's son Samuel's earth-friendly tee

07/10/2008 at 03:00 PM ET

Jack_black_sonWe’re really enjoying the status that the environment is experiencing as a fashion trend for kids (as opposed to Lil’ Slugger, Princess or Diva themes). The latest example is Jack Black‘s 2-year-old son Samuel Jason Black, who wore his Mighty Fine’s Mini Fine Grover Save Our Planet Tee to the playground with his parents. The tee, priced at $22, features Sesame Street’s Grover in his Super Grover persona balancing the world on the tip of his finger, with the words, "Save Our Planet" above and below. The cotton/poly blend shirt, which is available in 2-4T, can be purchased at Tuttibella.com

Mini Fine also offers earth-friendly mottos for fans of Big Bird ("Love Your Mother"), Oscar ("Please recycle" and "Don’t Trash Our Planet"), Disney ("We’re all in this together"), Snoopy ("Keep it Clean"), and Coca Cola ("Please recycle").

Hahaha, I have that t-shirt! And I’m a woman! I got mine from Urban Outfitters in the UK though, not meant for little children.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
