Kushies Zolo Toys: Stimulate Your Baby's Senses
My almost 5-month-old baby, Allegra, is very into certain things right now, like her Mobilo – Crib Carousel Mobile ($60.00) by Kushies Zolo Toys. She loves looking at it and it calms her down (when she does not want to take the nap she so desperately needs). We love the 5 cuddly characters that are attached to the bright, mirrored canopy. It securely attaches to her crib and she loves watching the animals go round and round. When she outgrows the mobile (i.e., when she can stand in her crib and yank it down), I will be able to take the animals off the mobile for her to play with.
It’s suitable from birth on, and it contains 5 cute detachable Kushies Zolocharacters, a mirrored canopy, and a wooden arm for easy attachment. Itencourages security, flexible thinking, dexterity, and visualdevelopment.
She also loves the Chacha Buggy Sensory Pleasing Rattle($20.00). It was the first toy we ever gave her. Allegra’s pediatriciantold us to stimulate her with something red. This rattle fit the billwith its bright red nose and see through base along with a redbackground. The rattle also features vibrant patterns, teether ‘hair’,and a spinning collar. It was easy for my little one to grasp (thoughat 5 months now, she can really hold it), and was Parenting’s Toy of the Year in 2006.
The latest thing Allegra adores is her Zolo Linki Chip – Clip Together Teether & Toys($16.00). It contains 2 teething rings, a picture frame, plush Chipcharacter, and 3 signature rings for easy attachment. She has such aball grabbing and trying to cram them in her mouth. They are usuallyattached to the front bar of her stroller or I let her play with themon her high chair tray. Poor Chip has been thrown on the floor a lotlately. This toy encourages visual development, flexible thinking,dexterity and tactile stimulation.
